i don't really think it is any difficult to understand actually...i was expecting something more from the mangaka of the amazing "k no souretsu"...i find it a bit "meh"...the art is ugly for one thing and the story is not really good...i really love one illustration though...the one with the goldfish lady!! such a nice drawing!
I really enjoyed this... it's very offbeat and completely artsy. It may be a little difficult to understand, but I think that's because it feels- to me at least, like one long poem told in pictures and words. It focuses on relationships, women, and love in a sensuous, sultry way. For example, the first story features a man bathing himself in "sweet black tea" and smoking a cigarette. Not your standard fare, and definitely worth checking out.
Ai Yazawa was influenced by Maki Kusumoto back in the days ^^. Maki Kusumoto is a legend haha, her earlier work- kiss xxxx influenced a lot of vk bands from 1989+. I love this little oneshot.
I really didn't get many of the stories in this manga but even so I enjoyed it the art was beautiful and the last story reminded me of myself a little really rather pleasant little read, the art had a bit of a ai yazawa early work feel which is probably why I liked it so much!
