High school student Ryuuichi and his best friend Yuuji couldn't be more different, except for their mutual love of music - particularly western hard rock music, something that few Japanese bands have tried to imitate by the time the early 80s roll around. It's been Yuuji's and Ryuuichi's goal to start a band that follows in the footsteps of the groups they admire most, but when the looming spectre of approaching adulthood responsibility begins to challenge their friendship in ways they never thought possible, it looks like their dreams might remain only dreams forever. Will they be able to figure out what's really important to them in life before temporary obstacles turn into lifelong regrets?
