This was such a lovely series. I wouldn't say it was ground-breaking because it definitely had its clichés but the chemistry between the two leads is what really made this manga shine. It was nice seeing the friendly banter between Andou and Misono and them actually getting along, it can be hard to find that kind of natural dynamic in shoujo - the FL is usually too dazzled by the ML so is too shy / has no personality around him or the banter is too much and it's a full on fighting match. The communication in this manga was great too, no problem was drawn out for 5++ chapters just because they didn't talk it out. My goodness though, this manga almost gave me third lead syndrome, Obi was so adorable and pure. I may have continued to ship Andou x Misono but Obi, that boy has my heart. T^T I really liked how both boys were such unproblematic, green flags. Andou was also a cutie and grew up well throughout the series.

Overall, a cute, solid read (with beautifuuuuul art) that doesn't deserve all the hate I keep seeing in other comment sections! Above your average shoujo in my books! <3

for this author, the stories are usually laid-back, generic shoujo but with nice, tolerable FL, and the relationship itself don't really have that "depth".

BUT, this one have it. Even though all the cliches are still here, it's there for a reason, so we just have to endure a bit. In short, it's character growth. For both FL and ML. Basically you have to go through the rain first, to see the rainbow 🌈...

This is one of the most refreshing romance shoujos I've read in the last couple of years, and I'm not saying this like it's a revolutionary story in the shoujo demography, what I mean is that this manga knows its identity very well. It feels like your classic shujo but still like something you've never read before, it's so cool!
What I love about this manga is that it uses the love triangle cliche so smoothly, it really gives a new and interesting perspective. It's so cute, funny and heartwarming, I really recommend it, also, the art style is SO GORGEOUS, I would look at Hiro's sensei illustrations all day if I could

I love Obi, I think Obi is a nice fit for Andou. But I know she’s most likely going to pick the blond one because that’s the trope. I would like to read a shoujo where the third option pulls through but I’m not too sure on this one.
