Very sweet

It's not a groundbreaking story and characters aren't exactly most inspiring, but I still like the main couple's dynamics and find them a good fit for each other. The fact that they both grew to care for one another and for themselves is just so sweet and endearing it's impossible to hate on such a thing. The art is also very good, and the mangaka's chibi drawings helped to add a touch of humour to the story, which I love.

On an unrelated note I chuckled a bit at "Kuze Akihito" because that's literally also the name of the main character in Yuuutsu na Asa which is like one of my favourite manga series of all time lol.

Idk I felt nothing towards the characters unlike with Kimi ga Kawaii Riyuu. The art is still good, Akihito's character is my type but I remain unconvinced of the cop's character after reading it twice now. Bonus points for the pretty uncle though lol.

Didn't expect it will be this good. Nice surprise. Also I don't get the rating.

The strong plot, good storytelling and complex characters make this work really enjoyable. It's a bit bitter, slow romance, between two people who met by coincidence, people with a past and certain responsibilities. They can gain from this love but they can also loose a lot (I mean a police officer involved with a minor of the same sex, it could ruin one's future, on the other hand young master of a famous kimono shop, involved with a man - it could also ruin the image of the shop, the business that existed for generations). Well it's a type of work where you can read between the lines. I like smart stories with depth, so I had a lot of fun reading this one, through I thought it will be a cliche story, thankfully it wasn't. The plot is unique enough to make you remember this manga for a long time. And I liked supporting characters.
More importantly the art is much better than the picture on the cover, so yes, I think I'll check other works of SUZUMARU sensei. I hope they are around this level.

A nice and sweet manga. I also lol'd and did a double take when I saw Akihito's name. I was like "...Akihito doesn't have glasses and isn't an uke!" Maybe he's a descendant lol. (Katsuragi did manage to be the head of Kanemoto Spinning...)

I do agree that some parts were a little drawn out. The will-they-won't-they angle is frustrating and unnecessary. Maybe if the manga spent more time in the beginning building more romantic chemistry (and sexual tension) then I would care about if they eventually do the deed or not. The uncle character was a super charming bonus and now I want a manga about him lol.

Also, we needed WAY more instances of Goutarou in his cop uniform. I only got to see it like three times. If he's gonna be a cop, we at least need as much uniform service as possible!
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
and cop play. not gonna lie, that would have been fucking hot

White Knight syndrome, clumsy plot

I really wanted to like this, but I found Sumeragi's behavior off-putting from the start. He treats Akihito very disrespectfully, and it's played like he's some kind of saviour. On top of that, the narrative feels all over the place. Weird pacing, difficult to follow what's happening sometimes. Too much exposition in some areas, then none where it's needed. I'm disappointed because I really like this author's other works.

I rated this story so poorly because there was nothing interesting about it. It was plain boring and there was no reason to dedicate a whole volume for such a weak love-story. What purpose did the introduction of Gou's family and Akihito's uncle serve? Why did they have to wait for months to do adult stuff -not just sex but also dates and kisses- even though their love was concrete? It makes people wonder, do Japanese people read these mangas?
