A bunch of short stories that were okay, but not too memorable.Seinen 14-sai was enjoyable though it left me feeling like it was a little incomplete.
The one that I really loved was the last one, Kanashii Kara Janai. It didn't have much in the way of romance, but was perfect the way it was - a really sweet story revolving around a school boy and his friendship with an elderly lady, and a new transfer student at the school. Seriously, I'd recommend this manga just for this story.

The main couple was hilarious! I love that they're best friends and rough house, but still are into each other. And the drawings at the end of them as elderly men still together and having the same fights was GREAT! <3
I even really enjoyed the side story in Chapter 4 about the guy who has several cats and the artment manager's son who falls for him. It was pretty funny!
And I LOVE the tobacco store owner (the grandma) in the last story! She rocked! And that whole story was just beautiful.
I didn't love the story where the cousins fell for each other... I have cousins, so that just freaks me out without fail.

I swear, I need to get these things removed. Because I was crying all throughout this one. Especially the last story. THE LAST STORY WILL MAKE YOU CRY, NO EXCEPTIONS.
I was really rooting for some switch, but there wasn't as much as I thought there'd be. The title couple is very cute, I loved how we see some progression over the years.
The other stories are hit/miss. I love cat manga, but it didn't really hit the spot. The author one was nice until that jerk showed up. It reminded me of another manga. (Can't Even Breathe Without You maybe?)

Oh my goodness! This story made my cry!! It made many pangs in my chest, and now after reading it I feel so empty... T^T I really wish, though, that they would have ended up together; they were such a cute couple!!! >__<
To be honest the first story is the only one worth reading.

But they don't float my boat.
I came for the reversible couple, which to be frank was a huge disappointment by the end of chapter 3.
The last chapter was even more of a let down.

When I saw that one of the categories was reversible couple, I was considering not finishing the manga. But I'm glad that I continued reading. Luckily I didn't have to see Itou as the uke. I liked the other stories more than the main one though. My favorite was the last part seinen 70 sai, that was so funny!
This is definitely not one of Yamada-sensei's best work. Yes her art work is a tad bit different than what is seen in usual yaoi but she probably has some of the best stories ever. They're not cliche at all and plus they're hillarious. I love alot of her stories and this one isn't the best but not something to pass on either.
My favorite story of the manga was definately the main one (there are two extras at the end). The two characters were just so funny! Especially Machida! This is the first time I've seen such a battle to be seme... The last extra didn't impress me too much, but the rest of the manga was really cute and funny. Many think the artwork is a bit of a turnoff, but it just takes some getting used to. The story and characters more than make up for it.
