Description
Astelle, the empire's one-day empress brought with her a secret when she left the palace after the divorce: she was pregnant with Emperor Kaizen's child. Six years later, Astelle is living a peaceful life in the countryside with their son until the imperial guards come knocking. Kaizen requires Astelle's consent to receive the key territory of Meilen. With the empire still in turmoil from a rebellion, will Astelle be able to hide her son's identity from these threatening forces, and more importantly, from his father, the emperor?

This kind of lack of communication drama is just not my cup of tea. Dropped after 16 chapters
" General rating " 8/10
As you should know, this is a drama based series, and honestly, I don't mind it. The problem I have is that if there aren't any smart people reading, we get stupid comments. This manhwa has a big misunderstanding that doesn't seem to be clearing up; the thing is, I give it to the author for making it hideable for the characters and the readers. Overall, the series has an interesting plot with well-written characters, but it may not be suitable for those who prefer fast-paced action. However, if you enjoy a slow-burn drama with occasional comedic and wholesome moments, this series is worth checking out.
"Characters." 8/10
Of course, my baby Theor is my favourite, although he is a simple, lovable child character.
Kaizen, well, Kaizen's character seems not to be too far into understanding from what I see, but yes, he is a hateable character. On the other hand, the male lead's development throughout the series so far is impressive. Astelle is an interesting character, but I have a love hate relationship with her. Most of her actions throughout have been very great. Even so, there are some very nonsensical things she has done.
"Family realtionship." 10/10
Holy shit If this was read around a happy family, this could've been one of the best manhwas seen. I enjoy the fact that Kaizen, without knowing he is Theor's father, treats him like a son already. I truly love the story of the father-son relationship.
"Rommance." 6/10
Lord have on me, words cannot desscribe how much Kaizen and Astelle tommarte me, but for some reason it leaves me more excitted bc i really want to see how it goes.
Although the romance aspect of the manhwa may not be the strongest point, the father-son relationship between Kaizen and Theors adds a unique and heartwarming element to the story. It will be interesting to see how Kaizen and Astelle's relationship develops in future chapters.
Overall it is a good read, and i'm enjoying it so far

i think that most manhwa titles are often misleading. in this case though, she really tried to hide her child and went on about 50+ chapters before the discovery. i thought it would only be earlier than that, which would disappoint me. cute interaction with the baby. art is lovely.
I like the story so far. The art is GORGEOUS. The FL is so strong and the child is SOOO CUTE <3 He melts my heart. The ML is not that unique but I still like the romance. I wish more people would give this one a chance. It has some cute funny moments that I love.
