Description

I love this work.
I disagree that season 1 is unnecessary to read: the context for their relationship is fundamental to the story, plus it's a really fantastic and enjoyable read!

For one, to have the love interest rape the protag, then for the protag call a spade a spade and have the story SUPPORT that truth is so vanishingly rare. Way too often you see lesser works get away with rapist love interests by casting them as being "assertive yet harmless".
For another, the uke doesn't roll over belly up when the previously abusive love interest shows a single ounce of kindness, he carries his own trauma and acts in accordance with it.

Note: this story contains a lot of violence and rape.
I initially dropped the series because every update brought me no joy, only stress. How can we cheer for the main characters when we saw them happy for 0.5 seconds and the rest is just pain, sadness, and hardships? At this point, is this relationship even worth getting through all these obstacles? Above all, I don't feel like we really get why they even like each other. Then, I noticed there were only 4 chapters left until the end of S1, so I may as well finish it.
The main character's pride annoys me. Now, I get the shame of asking for help and relying on someone else, but it is to a point that it's becoming frustrating (though not unrealistic). Jiwook is now deeply in trouble and instead of finding solutions, he seems more interested in running away and facing everything alone. I feel he could have avoided a lot of problems if he just communicated better why he doesn't want monetary help. He could even have found some other type of support or another solution, but nooooooooo, that would be too easy. How else can you make a story last without dragging on misunderstandings for a literal in-story decade, right?
My main problem is the love interest. Seung-eon has anger issues, he is violent. At first, I thought he did learn and change. How naive I was.
Then there is the villain. He is crazy and evil, almost comically so. Sure, rich people tend to avoid consequences, but I feel like the consequences of his actions were too little. Also, was he even needed? Jiwook and Seung-eon have plenty of problems themselves without a villain.
The first chapter of season 2 introduces a new character. Why? Isn't there enough mess to clean up?
The art is beautiful and the story is interesting enough that I may keep reading to see what happens, but I just have no idea how you can redeem the love interest and this whole mess of misunderstandings (if you even can). I fear it's going to be rushed and unsatisfying.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect with his story, I mean I LOVED “Night Maze”. The artwork is everything here and that’s really what you brought me in.

I kind of got into season one. It was a little toxic at that point, but I thought the story was interesting and I was wanting to see where it would go. However, I just cannot get into the story and keep reading it anymore.

There is a main CP in the story. However, the story has really become about how many ways can the MC be abused by life in general. Whether it’s through misunderstandings or intentional actions. The CP at this point has experienced so much abuse in all forms, physical, emotional, psychological… That I don’t even see a point of the story anymore. I honestly just don’t even know what this is about anymore. It has really reached a point where the MC is better off just going his own way (think of the ending for “bound to be fools”) and reintegrating into society so that he can be independent.
So what’s the point of this all in that case if the reason this all happened in the first place is because they tried to be together…so yeah I’m walking away and waiting for this to finish the I’ll just read the last 5 or 10 chapters.

I love the art, it's beautiful, and loved, well like the 1st season, maybe. But I will stop reading it now.
It became way over toxic, it wears me out emotionally and mentally. The story along with the decisions that the characters (or the author..) make, don't make sense anymore. It's like there is no development in the story, but we/them are just wallowing in this toxic swamp. Even in stories with toxic relationships, there are/should be character/narrative development.
I almost never leave anything unfinished, I even read Terminus (YoungChan) till the end, although that was also some bad writing. But this... it's just, there is abolsutely no enjoyment in reading this. AT ALL anymore. I'm sorry.
I will wait it to end, and check out the last episode. If I like what I see, how it ended, maybe I will come back to where I stopped reading it, and then complete it.

I loved the beginning but, by the time skips, the characters don’t even seem themselves. Nobody is likeable, they continuously make out of character decisions to create unnecessary drama, and the author is waaaay too into making every character suffer.
I actually thought the characters were on the mend because of therapy and rekindling their love but, of course, the author makes more unnecessary drama from out of character decisions. I LOVE Night Maze . It's. Well crafted story and two male caring leads that you can just love but this new story by the author seems incredibly toxic for way too many chapters........

I skipped to the second season and had zero problems understanding the story. THAT is a hallmark of very bad writing. I'm shocked. I really like the other two stories from Pando. Their artwork has improved so much, it's just gorgeous so I actually feel cheated of a good story to go along with it. Their artwork doesn't deserve to be used for such pointless cruelty and stupidity of this story.
MC is so incredibly...ugh. not stupid...just all the shit he got into could have been avoided if he'd just go along with the ML. Even though I didn't read the entire 1st season I literally guessed what's going to happen. Lo and behold, when I read the 2nd season my guesses were on point, all the way through. Wild. Just unbelievable. I'm so disappointed. I'll continue to read it, when/if I remember to do it.

This whole thing just makes me miserable. ML is cruel but not the worst as he actually calms down and opens up but MC never learn and changes. This story could have ended ages ago if only MC put away his pride (which he lost later anyway) and just accepted MLs help instead of going through TWO time gaps with terrible misunderstandings.
This is just one of those series with a disgusting turnover 'to attract' readers and later we only have more and more sick scenarios, rape scenes are just overloaded one after another without any reason...every plot twist is only to add more angst and another batch of misunderstandings... series should have ended long time ago, dragged on purpose and fell to the bottom... probably nothing can save it anymore...

Like it as how two opposite characters in every aspect fall in love ,and the drama was good,just the third wheel party was somehow annoying and how it gose with him made no sense
And it wasn't all about smut and sext, so it made you into the story more
And again as most of korean manhwa, the lengthened in the story and repeated dialogue and flip of events was there but in someway, not extremely bad
Enjoyed reading it ,and waiting for new chapters to see how it ll endup as the prologue declared, and how it ll progress between them after that(7June2021)

The story went down hill after ch39 ,and the Uke is an asshole,selfish ,cruel and stupid bastard ,don't love the seme as much as he love him, and just want to be pity and create a drama ,feel so sad for the seme ...if the writer reflected otherwise then this story is a BS like "back to school"
