tl;dr It's trash, Skip it.
First off, the only reason I rate it high as I do, because there are a couple of scenes where he interacts with his family, and honestly those are the only ones that feel like they have any real quality. Dad-Mom is hard working, and providers for her family. Mom-Dad watches out for the kids, They seem to support each other like a real world couple, and make it work. It feels like they might actually live in a reverse gender society because its subtle, and the manga leaves the impression that "this should be the norm" This is imidately thrown out by having some weird bullshit cultivation explanation that basically says women are dumber/weaker, and spirit magic reversed this for some unexplained reason.
The protagonist who is a super cultivation expert and studied it for 300 years, proceeds to give 0 f#^& about strange cultivation phenomenon, and plans to ditch his alternate reality family and get back to getting arbitrarily stronger in the spirit world. There is no indication of power or strength, other than "the protagonist is better and amazing" , and nothing ever feels like a threat or even moderately inconvenienced. I honestly cannot tell you who the villains are because literally no time/thought/effort has been put into them.
The protagonist is "madly in love" with one girl, but screws another after going into heat or something (No explanation is ever given, nor sought out by supposed super cultivation expert. He just shrugs and then turns around and continues his loyalty to his past wife, While still sleeping with his new sex buddy. He doesn't feel the need to explain his hypocrisy, but then again he flirts with everyone, so maybe he's just accepts he is a scumbag, and is all enlightened and chill with it?
Setting wise, The gender roles things isn't a subtle thing, its just a massive pile of gender based stereotypes, no thought has been put into this whatsoever. For example a character was, "A child was abandoned by one parent after a fling/ raised by a single mother" gender flipped scenario where he supposedly had a hard life. Except, Biology isn't altered by the setting . Men are men, women are women. It's physically impossible for the mother to of sexed then ran off. That father certainly didn't pop him out. No effort was made to port "stereotype of gender A" into "Stereotype gender B" . The gender swap basically just makes women the antagonist every now and then as opposed to just being arm candy. That doesn't help them much, as It's not even consistent to its own lore, as women constantly switch into act girly, or actively take submissive positions.
I'm giving it 3/10 for his family, and for one scene that i found a lot funnier, due to the contest of the setting.
