Some of his lackeys and insignificant side characters are men, but even the most useful of them don't help him in tricky situations. They can't.
However, somehow, some way, there's always a gorgeous woman who's there to literally save his life. Even if she's not all that powerful.
So this is pseudo harem. BUT the women are slightly better written than the gross slop that is the vast majority of harem fantasy stories like this with dungeons, infinite power ups, ranks, levels and the likes.
Just for making the women a teeny, tiny bit more interesting I have to give it a 4 out of 10. It's so damned rare.
EDIT: ch. 32
I made a "wild", blind guess that his "soul contract", turning someone into an absolute slave servant, would be used on a hot female enemy.
Come ch. 147 and I was proven 100% correct. 🤮 So predictable.
Dropped from 5 to 2 out of 10.
She's not even the most powerful. He should have saved it for one of the truly world ending bosses. She's just the hottest female antagonist.
At least he doesn't have a creepy, incestuous vibe with his sister. But the fact that he has a sister and is an orphan is yawn inducing.
If one of these harem manhuas with a "stallion protagonist" had a brother whom he loves and adores, and vice versa, I'll probably be in great shock.
There's an actual PLOT! It looks and reads like it's meandering, but it's not. There's a clear end game. That's amazing for this kind of manhua.
Art is standardized after awhile, looking eerily like generic manhwa instead of the unique and engaging manhua one it started out with. At least it's nowhere near a copy of Solo Leveling/Redice Studios.
