I know that Dogyeom and Seungho are mains and they have their flaws (they're quite stupid), but I don't rhink that Mujin is as good as some say he is.

I read this because I was interested in the character Dogyeom, who briefly appeared in the main story of Love is an Illusion. But it turns out, reading this manhwa is just a waste of time. The two main leads frustrate me because they are so indecisive and stupid. The only character I quite liked in this manhwa maybe just Mujin, I think he deserves better.

I always had high hopes for this spin-off, I thought the romantic partner would be a >woman<, I asked and dreamed so much to be a women, but they threw in a STRAIGHT romance, man, what would it cost to put another woman as Park Do-Gyeom romantic partner? apparently, a lot. I read, do what I read, and again, one disappointment after another. It's a read that's not worth reading, I pretend it doesn't exist in the universe of love is an illusion.

I only read it because it's a spin-off of Love Is an Illusion and I didn't think it was bad for my first josei manhwa. But since I'm a die-hard Yaoi fan, this will also be my last.

I had high hopes for this. How rare is it to find a female alpha X male omega pairing? A strong woman and a cute man? Yes, please! I bought it to support that as well as liking LIAI. To me, it was a bit of a let down.

The good:
•The art is lovely and Do-gyeom is very attractive and wears pretty clothes. All the characters are good looking. I typically don't like girly looking guys but I'm able to let that slide when it comes to Omegaverse stories. Seung-ah (male omega) was really pretty, basically a cute lesbian, lol.
•I liked the female lead. She was problematic and definitely a ho, but her flaws made her fun. She wasn't evil or narcissistic, just made dumb choices anyone could make. (Of course some choices were made to extend serialization, but I digress...)

The bad:
•Personal pet peeve, but why did Do-gyeom have testicles? She's a female, regardless if she's an alpha. The typical Omegaverse infographic shows just a phallus for female alphas. It was weird to see the dangling extras; they don't belong.
•There was way too much BL for a story billed as a josei Omegaverse. I love BL but the needless love triangle between Mujin, Do-gyeom and Seung-ah was distracting. I wish it was two female alpha fighting over the cute male omega; that would've been a very, very fun and spicy story! Oh, I wish she wrote it like that... But I can't blame her for putting BL (sex) in there. All her fans are BL fans and probably don't like HL (hetero love) all that much for whatever reason (like internalized misogyny, for example). Fargo probably felt pressured to appeal to her audience; in fact, she was harassed about it on social media! The gall... And the story suffered because of it. because the MC is Do-gyeom, so having to spend chapters with him and Seung-ah together was grating and honestly just fan service.
• Not enough alpha female sex scenes! There were some in the beginning, but not enough overall, and definitely not enough female on male scenes. This work is basically more of a GL and BL.
•The ending was okay but it felt very rushed. Again, I really believe it's due to complaints and hate towards Do-gyeom so the author gave up. She says she's happy but I doubt it.

I don't regret buying it and maybe a binge read will change my opinion on its quality but it could've been so much better if Fargo kept it strictly josei with no BL. She shouldn't have listened to the naysayers. Anyway, I'm much more enjoying "One Night Only" for my josei, female alpha X male omega fix. It's way better and the FL is an anatomically correct female alpha, i.e. she doesn't have balls, lmao, just a phallus that's pops out during the deed!

I Dont think the MC is worth pitying as much as off the most recent chapter. As for the FL I know she will have character development. But I am not happy a lesbian is being used for tht development 😕.....

Sooo...sorry for my language but Park Do-Gyeom is just a slut... The farther, the more I dislike her... another pathetic character, uses people as she pleases... as we can see after Love is an illusion, the author likes asshole semes...but here is even a worse one, just trash...1 star for Mujin only, if it was't for him, this series wouldn't even deserve one, he is the only goos thing here! He should be the end game, but obviously... surely won't...
and presenting Do-Gyeom as a person suffering from love ... yeah ... and she forced her loved one to clean up after her sex friends all these years, yeah, amazing justifying 😭
