One isekai to rule them all

This manga takes months for each chapter because Hirano-san and his staff have super high drawing standards, and it shows. Hellsing too took a lot of time to be finished. I eagerly await more. And yes, I bought every volume of the manga when they came out to support the author. The Customer has spoken.

Drifters Manga Vs The Anime

This Manga has become history heaven for me! Really enjoyed all the character references and I must say the anime adaptation has done justice to the manga. I used to get really disappointed when some mangas are adapted into animes and when they skipped a large part of the story, it used to make such big plotholes. However, Drifters manga and anime as a whole is a definite top recommend and I hope 2nd Season of the anime version do justice too, if not I'm gonna be really sad.

Very similar to hellsing in almost every aspect

This is a fairly good manga, no doubt about that, the art style is great, the drawings and story is full of vibrant energy and everything is high-paced. The frequent comedic relief is sorely needed for this author, otherwise the story would honestly be just average. It's just about famous historical figures getting transported to a parallel universe by two god-like beings. These two god-like beings are seemingly playing around, one is dark and sends historical figures who has huge reasons for having grudges against humanity who is the "enemy side" and tries to annihilate either the entire world or the human race, the other side is just random historical figures who either loves war, is connected to wars or has other qualities that makes them useful there. They're on the human/demi-human side. Now these people fight against each other in a huge war. Well, that's pretty much it, with a wacky main cast that are eccentric to say the least.

Pretty much a copy of everything that made hellsing into hellsing with a different setting.

Well, I can't really rate it higher than 7/10 though, that's the absolute highest I was able to feel that this work deserved. There are too many issues with this author's writing style which is similar to the issues in hellsing.

First of all, there a lot of unnecessary dialogue that fulfills no real purpose other than fill up space and look cool. Then we have the characters, they're all pretty much insane in one way or another. There's no sanity or logic to be found here, both the enemy and ally side are freaking morons. It doesn't make much sense and is way too chaotic to be called a good story.

One feels completely and utterly disconnected to the character cast, just like in hellsing. I couldn't care less if any of the characters died, I have no attachment to any of them and I feel nothing for them, be it enemies or allies. They feel empty and quite honestly kinda boring in a way. You won't find any good storytelling or anything that would make you actually care about what's happening, it's just fairly interesting to see it play out. None of the characters have any great motivations and they're all very shallow, beginning and ending at being lunatics who runs around and does stuff for fun or some code they live by, they don't truly have any intriguing personalities.

The author makes things up as he goes and nothing is ever truly explained, it seems more like he writes whatever he wants and makes it up as he goes with no great plan. Nothing is really revealed about anyone until the critical moment. Who is the two people behind the scenes? What is the motivations of all these people? Why are they doing anything? What happened to them in the mind of the author to cause their current convictions? Who is that guy that looks like the shadowed murderer from a detective drama? How did some people gain powers? What system does that world run by? What background story does the world have? What of its people? Seriously, you won't find the answer to ANYTHING. It's just a chaotic story with no major thought put into it. There's battles everywhere, some people pop up and can use powers, things have or is happening but we don't know why or how. The readers just have to accept that it exists but it's not even introduced properly, as an example, we just find out that these people have powers when they use them, or maybe that this guy is almost immortal for some reason and then he turns into ashes, but why? What are they, or he/she? So many unanswered questions that will never be answered, just like in hellsing. It's frustrating, but since the author manages to make one feel completely disconnected from everyone, it doesn't feel that annoying because you don't really care about them or the story that much. I've never seen an author that is better at making the readers give absolutely zero f*cks whatsoever about the characters and what happens in their story.

There's tons of gore, but once again, it doesn't feel even remotely real and even someone who've never read stuff with gore in it wouldn't necessarily be disturbed by it, it's like watching straw dolls be killed, who cares? This author should never write any true horror stuff, he doesn't have what it takes, not even a little bit. The only thing he can write is hotchpot stories with paper thin characters, no real plot, some comedy and lots of chaos and insanity that truly can't let readers be immersed and absorbed. Anything more than that is clearly not possible.

Not saying that his stories are truly bad, I like them, but they're not something I feel immersed and absorbed into, they're not something that makes me feel desperate for the next chapter, nor are they clever or creative. If I had to say what makes them pretty good, it's the uniqueness. The insanity, the chaos, that everything just moves forward with lots of violence and nothing deep that would make you stop and wonder. It's chaos, yet it somehow works. It's still interesting and you don't get bored. That's the best part, how it isn't boring and won't get boring after reading for several dozen chapters. This guy is one of those rare authors that have managed to find their own styles that pretty much no one else offers. It's not necessarily awesome, but it's good and since it deviates from other works, it feels fresh and interesting even for those who have read thousands of novels, manga and anime.

I feel that this work might be more deserving of a 6/10 while thinking of all the flaws, but since it manages to entertain and not get boring nonetheless, it gets a 7/10.

It's a manga about warriors' madness

Oh, it hide the main points well. Nonsensical gags, jokes, mascot characters... It could blind you, just so the non-fans can read it.

But at the core it's about warriors' madness, and obsessions, and final dying wills. Drifters and Ends, at the end of the day, are just different about whether they are willing to draw the world to die along with themselves (Yes/No).

Yet another manga with far too few pages per chapter for a monthly/bi-monthly series. We're being drip fed the damn plot and one's patience can only last so long. Seriously I waited 3 months for 16 pages?!
Waste of my time.

I really wanted to like this manga because I love art styles like this, but it's too jumbled up and confusing. I'm not bothered by the violence or gore.
The story telling is all over the place. The characters are static. I had to ignore the text and look at the art to flip the pages.
I can see why people who are in the mood for pointless action might like it along with history majors.

This series absolutely sounds like it has the ingredients for a great and exciting story, but unfortunately it squanders them on nonsensical gags and idiotic motivations for characters. Instead of putting historical characters in interesting fantasy scenarios, to create great action, it uses them as set ups for unfunny jokes and stroking the ego of Japanese famous historical figures.

Where's the anime for this! I want to see it so here take my money! Ahem, yeah it just that awesome. I thought it was strange first few chapters, but it really grows on you. The story is unique and interesting. The characters are... well take bad asses from history and pitched them against each other and what you get?

This is a history nerd's true heaven. Not only that, but for people, like me, who aren't as "educated" or "into" history as some, this will be enjoyable. Honestly, I enjoyed a lot of the references and jokes in here. It's seriously interesting, and I love the way the author integrated the character's past and habits in their plans/ideas. Amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

Yeah, in short this manga is the stage to show how epic of each hero based on their era. Epic, is for sure. Bloody battle in samurai style is everywhere around the mc.

In brief, enthralling epic bloody heroes stories... I'll give a ten

Edit: @silentanime... the hell?!! U maybe right?! After looking at his hands, maybe u got that right... very very very extreme character to be pulled of...
