This is clearly aiming to be a harem-school-club-silly-comedy manga, but boy it can't pull any element of that off. That feels like a pretty standard genre, but this just violently flops out the door. There's nothing truly unusual in this, and that's what makes it all the more baffling. There just isn't any there there. There seem to be punchlines, but there aren't any jokes.
Take the first chapter. They are practicing working at a stationary store. They don't really explain why very well, but fine it aligns somewhat with the plot. The MC walks in as a customer and the butcher's daughter is standing on a shelf with a wooden sword and shield in a heroic pose. She insists she was acting as a magical girl. Okay, magical girls don't normally have wooden swords and shields so I don't quite get that, but why was she doing that in the first place? Attempt 2 she is now sitting on a chair acting like she's working at a hostess club. Because the MC said not to it "fantasy-style" last time. Okay? Look you can have a stupid character, but I still need to understand their stupidity. Have they never been in a shop before? Why are they acting like this? Then the MC is irritated that the store has ground beef. The joke is this is supposed to be that this is supposed to be a stationary store, and the butcher's daughter put it there. For some reason. I'm already so confused by the earlier jokes, and the complete lack of any reemphasis on the stationary store point either narratively or artistically means I don't remember that at all, so I'm just confused why the store isn't supposed to have ground beef.
That's about 5 pages worth of the first chapter where three jokes are found dead in a scene I don't even fully understand. I can't fully attribute this to possibly shoddy translation. I can envision a better mangaka telling these exact same jokes. But they require set-up, context, actual characters.
The art style is very cute, if rough, but then it attempts to be an ecchi harem and the art is just not up to the task of doing that constantly.
