You know... I wouldn't exactly say that it's the sweetest or greatest Romance in the world, but it certainly is very interesting. When I started it, there were only 3 chapters, and I was hooked enough to want to know more. I found out they weren't going to translate it anymore, and I refused to accept that. NtK has a special place in my heart because I was the one that pushed it out there to be picked back up again. I really do love this series. Each chapter keeps me wanting more. The only thing I really hate about this series is... I have to wait a month at least for a new chapter. I get excited when I see a new one released.
The characters are a little more real world than in other romances. You have two kids that have been friends, but nothing more. They suffer too great a difference in looks and ability. Regardless of that, each of their seasons chips a little more of that wall away, and even makes the normally lazy Kaoru some motivation to self improve.
Ok... maybe it's not THAT realistic... but that's because most of us are lazy. Pft... self improvement... that stuff is for losers 😛

to me this was just an awesome read, even if u don't understand their fetish at first you still get shown how it makes them feel physically and emotionally. I also don't care what anyone else says the romance was there right from the start and how they (mostly the mc.) had a lot of conflicting emotions going through their heads over it. My only negative is the more hentaish chapters/filler with the teacher that seemed pointless to me.

Ever To English Paperback? + Basis of Sarashina Sensei

I personally have enjoyed this work very much having read through it multiple times as well as the Black Label Edition. I am just wondering if they will ever make a English Paperback Edition since it is already in German and Japanese. Plus i was also wondering where the author got his ideas for Sarashina Sensei and his ideas. Great read and looking forward for more releases.

This manga masterfully creates sexual tension without any real sex, nudity or even a kiss.

After 36 chapters it absolutely deserves a 10.

Especially since Tachi appeared. And in the recent chapters there seems to be a rivalry evolving between her and Nana.

I'm really curious which way will the story go. 😀

and I'm glad I did. People's opinions of the main character made me not want to read this at all, but after I started, I really liked it. Neither of the main character are sleazy, like other readers may say. Though both could be considered perverted, they are really just two growing teens learning about their own sexual limits and what love really is. If the BDSM were to be replaced with baseball or martial arts, the storyline really wouldn't be any different. Though sexual perversion seems to be the focal point of the manga, it's not. The real focus is on the developing relationship between the two main characters. That being written, I wouldn't recommend this for anyone under 16.

This is truly an awesome manga!! The plot are unique out there. It's so so so so unique that as far as i know, there isn't a manga that featuring S&M. Of course, except hentai.

I think this one is really entertaining. Sometime it made me excited! Sometime just so hilarious! Other time so gross! Certainly, this manga is interesting. It's hard to describe by words since im suck at writting.

Recommended for mature readers even if you dislike S&M (i myself do not like S&M but i still like the series though).

Made me laugh, had it's hot moments Nana to Kaoru is pretty much a way of introducing people into the world of bdsm guess it'd be considered light side of it. would love to buy the complete set of this manga if it's ever fully translated into english

Amazume Sensei is a sly one; he sneakily does fan service scenes from the POV of the protagonist, making you, the reader, feel like you're actually in the scene (with disembodied limbs à la CS or some hentai game).

If you cannot deal with UST, stay away. This is for those who are into the slow burn.

P.S. The live action film 1 was blah for me. Didn't watch 2 so can't comment on whether it was equally awkward.

the part people like most about this isn't the whole perverted things. yes it does add something good to keep the attention, but its the romance between the two that mostly keeps us interested. It certainly isn't your typical topic and from the accuracy of information to the beautiful artwork a lot of work was put into this and for me its my top manga

BS on the MC being lame and the girl being tsundere, since that isn't the case AT ALL. MC is pretty normal and the girl gives off zero tsundere vibes except maybe once in the beginning.
You are right about it being super slow though. It feels like an active effort is being made to develop the characters and their relationships as slowly as possible
