Bittersweet As Expected

I'm kinda disappointed about the ending. Not because of how things played out at the end, cause it was for the best he moved on and they went their separate ways, but I wished more was said. More on how Kaede made a promise with him that got broken, how much it must've messed him up hearing that kinda stuff the room over; So much damage. It pisses me off on how free she can look when Tetsuo was hurting that hard then.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It's wishful desires though, cause it is what it is. It played out realistically, Tetsuo had already moved on from Kaede at that point. He probably didn't want to throw that kinda damage and trauma dump anymore anyways. Like damn he even slept with her lol; I guess that was the closure for sure— and thought it was overrated! And he has a place back in that bar, he's able to move on from his brother's shadow, girls who love him. Life sucks, and he was able to get back on his feet. It was a good end, but still bittersweet.

a did read some comment her , first to correct some of you , kaedi made a promise with mc and it was shown in the story like if she forget it , she went to see the mc a lot of time and one day she knocked his brother room and after some day she stated dating him ( like how ), the brother is a price of sh**t , he know that keadi is mc childhoold friend , he should at least ask mc about the situtation , and yes this can be said as ntr story since kaedi didn't just broke mc life but in last chapter she cheated on the brother with the mc and more than that she told him that she will be waiting for him but in the end she rejected him , she even wished in middle of story that the mc could have been a better BF than the big brother .

Love how everyone forgets the promise that Kaede made with Tetsuo about "making her his" when she came back...yet, when she does, she falls for the brother. It's also clear by how she acts that she also has feelings for him even later. If that's not a prerequisite for NTR, then many hentai that also use this trope and are CALLED NTR would also not be NTR. Difference is, this MC actually deals with it in a realistic way and eventually moves on.

Excellent, Funny...

...and actually bears some relationship to real life, unlike most manga. This is a coming-of-age story about a boy of 18-19 who, essentially, has been "thoroughly whipped in his mind" (a line from an old rock song). His spirit has been broken by a lifetime of having an older brother whom everyone liked more than him and who could do everything better than him. His utter "defeatedness" is localized in his relations with women, whom he doesn't have a clue how to understand or deal with.

Obsessively determined to escape his hopelessness, after graduating high school he goes off to Tokyo to work as a waiter in a "girls bar" (a place where men go and pay a lot to drink in the company of pretty young women. Some version of such places exists almost everywhere.)

This situation puts this reasonably good-looking but clueless guy in contact with a lots of women. Hijinx ensue.

Great drawing also.

Re "netorare" and this being "sick", I have to laugh! Every boy has go go through some version of this kind of thing as part of becoming a man—defined as someone who can interact with women he's attracted to without acting like a bumbling idiot. Quit passing moral condemnation of an essentially innocent and rather sweet depiction of that maturation process, and instead just sit back and enjoy it. You might learn something in the process of being entertained.

It is a good read. A mature and somewhat realistic manga about love and relationships. Though the ending wasn't as pleasing as I would want it to be, it is for the most part, better than a lot of shoujo and shounen manga out here about romance.

PS: If you've read the raw then you'll understand why this it categorize as a Netorare. Reminds me of Rumble Heart (Kimi ga Nozomu Eien) except less dramatic.

About Netorare...

The definition of Netorare requires that the MC must be in a relationship with the one that 'cheats' on him/her, thats true, but, in my opinion, in this kind of manga is useful to have it tagged as Netorare, because with that tag you know that the manga has rage moments that go beyond the 'stolen kiss' or a 'date to the aquarium', to put examples. It goes beyond the love triangle or unrequited love.
I mean, Netorare is more like a 'feeling' than a real category.
For example, the tag betraying is more open, but Netorare means that the MC is betrayed, or feels betrayed and sex is involved in a very rage inducing way.
But that is only my opinion.

Why is this tagged as netorare?

Tetsuo never had an actual romantic relationship with Kaede. Netorare has a prerequisite of unfaithfulness; how can Kaede be unfaithful to Tetsuo if they've never even been in a relationship? Tagging this as netorare is like saying that everyone who has had an unrequited love - which is, well, everyone - has been NTRed.

Anyways, this is much more lighthearted than it looks. I like how it develops into a coming-of-age story about a guy who finally decides to go for the things he actually loves instead of just constantly trying to set himself apart from his "superior" older brother.

Pretty interesting

The manga seems promising. Being in a situation where you are forced to watch your unrequited love date your own brother is very harsh. The manga shows how the protagonist, who is scarred because of it, try to deal with that situation. I personally have been in situation where my unrequited love ended up with a friend of mine and it was hell for me when I still had feelings for her. So this manga is hits a bit home. The torment is unreal for the time the girl occupies your heart.

Seems promising so far and if you are looking for a good romance manga, I think this has the potential to be a good one.

This is pretty sick

Judging from first 2 chapters it's like NTR without actual hentai scenes. The main hero is a too over-sensitive teenager traumatized by a very harsh unrequited love experience. This drama seems to be a little bit overboard because it's hard to imagine chick to be so stupid and dull - women tend to notice people feelings and read a situation well. But anyways, this chick seems to suffer from Dawn's syndrome or some kind of a brain damage.
It's hard to judge in which way the plot will move, but it sure cannot be harsher than it already was in the first chapter.
For those who wants to eat some spiritual chilli pepper this manga is strongly recommended.

So far this manga looks interesting.
The initial premise is that the main character has erectile dysfunction because he was forced to listen to his childhood love and brother having sex next door throughout his highschool years. So after college he heads to tokyo with the intention of getting away from his brother and his crush and also to try and cure his ED where he ends up working as a barman/waiter at a girls club.
