The first story, “How Martians Conquer the Earth,” tells the tale of a young woman struggling with the sudden death of the man she loves. Can anyone ever replace him? The second tale, “Is It Really Impossible?,” makes you wonder if a man and a woman can truly be just friends, especially in a world where women are such a rare find. And the last of the three, “Science Fiction Story,” is a sad tale about a girl who hates robots and the humanoid who serves her. The creator, who believes ... More...

I really liked this volume. The sci-fi mentioned in the summary initially turned me away from this, but it was really very interesting. I've never seen anything like this before. The stories do have interesting, serious concepts, but there's also humor and bantering between the characters in each story. It's refreshing and definitely worth the read. Highly recommended!

Spoiler (highlight to view)
The actual robot was the girl and the human was the robot(Troy). I think the part saying that he had to pretend to be a woman was said by his partner(guy with the curly hair). The partner used a female voice to trick the robot into believing Troy was a robot. Kiva is the name the girl calls her "nanny"...probably Yoon Kyung. Yoon Kyung is the doctor who created the girl.
Didn't get at all!

It's different and good but I couldn't quite get the 3rd story.
So what? Was the girl the actual robot, and the robot was Troy, a man? Then what about him saying had to pretend like a woman? Also who's Kiva? who's yoon Kyung?

Amazing and poignant.

I've only read the first oneshot so far, but it was beautiful, not only in art, but also the story. The ending was bittersweet in an unexpected way, and the heroine is surprisingly endearing.
After reading the oneshot, I found out it's by the same manwhaga as Love at First Sight and And..., both of which are very different stories, each excellent in its own right. I'm following Lee Si Young now.
