A nice bit of self-parody

It does warrant caution that this will be utterly without any humorous merit if you haven't read Blame!. If you have, though, and have some context to understand this, it's amusing. Anything so painfully straight-faced as Blame! is aching for parody, and it's rare to see it coming from the original work's own author.

Read Blame! first

If you read Blame! first then this "might" make some sense. Only because Blame! doesn't make much sense to start with. But at least you'll have seen the characters presented and so are more likely to enjoy this work.
