Yamada quits her job after struggling with issues at work, including an affair between her boss and a colleague. When her apartment catches fire, she has nowhere to go. She stops by a curry restaurant only to lose consciousness. She wakes up in an unfamiliar room - the home of Inoue, the silent and unsociable owner. In exchange for a place to sleep, she ends up working at the curry restaurant, where a group of eccentric characters gather. She tries to rebuild her life while being pushed around by the eccentric regulars, but it seems Inoue is also hiding a secret...? A bitter and slightly spicy story begins !
