The woman Kiku, who by drawing the dead can resurrect them. The young man Biryuu, who possesses the mysterious power to see spirits of the dead. The two meet, and this story “Muyung” begins. The setting is ancient China during a period of great turmoil. The king is slain while Biryuu is in command of the troops. Biryuu and his father Hobeku meet Kiku during their grieving. Hobeku compels Kiku to resurrect the king, and Kiku revives him. However, those who are resurrected… have no shadow. They are “other”, having the same appearance but a completely different personality…
