I think I have a soft spot for the main story. I really do. It has all of my weaknesses: love that starts with friendship, pacing that actually fits, a very sweet seme and semi-tsundere uke, and an overall nice atmosphere.
I don't like cold characters or pushy relationships. If there's a romance, I want each character 100% into it, especially concerning sex scenes. I thought the main couple demonstrated this fairly well. There isn't much of a convoluted plot or anything to really make this stand out from the rest, but I think it got the job done well enough with how spot on the mangaka kept the main couple in character. Honestly, if the side oneshots had been cut out (because they're both pretty boring) and the main story had expanded their friendship a little further before pulling the 'I love you' trigger, this could have been a much more memorable read than simply sweet and passable (time to steal some Yamamoto Kotetsuko tips). Either way, if you want some fluff, then this is the manga for you.
