Typical cliched

It’s annoying because neither of the characters are able to say what’s on their mind, or talk about their issues, or even say what they were thinking. The female character spends all her time wondering if the male character really likes her. All it would take is a simple conversation to put her fears to rest but instead she spends years thanking all this crap. The male character doesn’t do much to help alleviate her fears so it’s partially his fault as well. He’s sort of treats or more like a daughter or a younger sister than a girlfriend. There’s also nothing very romantic about the story because the characters don’t show affection towards each other at all. If you don’t show affection towards each other, then how are you any different then being just friends.

Annoying....
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The girl is always crying, whining and easily gets jealous... Even if she is younger, that doesn't excuse herself for being immature most of the time...
The female MC is a big ball of insecurity... If I'm the boyfriend... I would quickly get tired of her....
This kind of girls who quickly misunderstands a situation and super selfish is the type I hate the most...

About The Lead Female

The main lead is a high school girl going out with a working adult. She wants to be mature and throughout the story works towards it but I honestly would prefer she come to him crying with her problems than hiding it and causing a whole new set of problems. Also, for those of you who think she should just have sex with him already find another manga. I appreciate that I get to see a character go through the insecurities of being in her first relationship and dealing with a bunch of teenage emotions and the seven year age gap without having to see another "but then they had sex and everything was better/worse" manga. There is nothing wrong with being naive, showing how you feel, being a bashful virgin, or acting a little annoying as you learn and grow.

Overally I loved it!

Throughout the series the main female, Mitsuki, kinda annoyed me. She is so childish, a cry-baby and dense.
But as the story progresses it is shown how she grows up and matures. So I guess it was necessary to show her acting as a stupid child in order to tell the difference.
As for Imai-san, he sometimes acted all mysterious and aloof instead of explaining himself, a thing that practically changed towards the last chapters.
Overall I really liked this manga a lot!
If their personalities were less like what I wrote above, I would rate it 10.
So from me this manga gets 9.5
You just have to love the Age Gap\Older male younger female genre for that!! ^^

Unsympathetic main character

The only redeeming characteristic that the protagonist has is that she's pretty. There is literally nothing else positive about her -- she's whiny, jealous, insensitive, immature... reading this is an exercise in frustration.

She is such a horror of a girlfriend, I cannot believe he puts up with it. She cries at every moment of the waking hour, is clingy, naive, won't put out ANYTHING and acts like a 10 year old. Also, she is the jealous type that does not stop thinking. She absolutely kills this manga.
Don't bother with it.

Sometimes, the main character WILL annoy the crap out of you. I still rated it 8 out of 10 though, because the story is so sweet, and it's wonderful to watch their relationship develop.

the catagories make this look like an annoying typical manga
its not though, i wont say its all that original
but its slow paced and soft... it gives a cute gentle feeling
and the main character isnt obnoxious or anything

The main protagonist is annoying and weak. The story isn't original. But y'know, it really works. And honestly, a fifteen year old dating someone like that is going to seem like a needy, spoiled brat. I liked it. I've read a lot of manga (shoujo especially), and I particularly liked this one... Maybe it was the pacing. Give it a shot. It might just be your cup of tea. It might not warrant a 10/10, but in my heart, it's perfect.
