Teddy, an apprentice carpenter, needs to tell something very important to a lonely sorcerer, Daaru. In order to do so, she decides to build a ladder to the moon.
Oneshot (Complete)

I love this idea. Daaru, the only sorcerer, sits on the moon every night to get attention (his own words) and Teddy, a carpenter's apprentice, becomes fascinated with him. She begins to build a ladder to reach him so she can talk to him. The art is gorgeous in an ethereal sort of way. I really love the way Daaru looks, to be honest. I'm glad this was so short and simple because if it were longer with cliche conflicts in it, a lot of the innocent, almost childish charm to it would be lost. It's very cute and sweet, and just the right length for the emotion it's trying to convey.
