It's essentially a humiliation ritual for Est by way of character assassination while also gaslighting you into believing members of Stardust did nothing wrong as it was for Est's "own good." Daru is the main source of the narrative issue. He is a Mary Sue character and seems to be the self-insert of this story. He also cucks Est romantically too as he ends up being Athena's reason for becoming an adventuerer and is a main supporter through their hardships. Hardships that were self inflicted by kicking out Est for being a "burden" of being protected by the group. But when Daru finds Athena lacking, he is patient with her and trains her. Whe Frey is uncooperative, he is assertive, but still trains her. He never gave Est this option at all and spare no thoughts for the guy whever he thinks of his party members, old or new, deceased or alive. Daru's reasoning for what he does and doesn't do is full of holes and errors with the only consistency seems to be keeping Est out of the party. It's really low and makes him a scumbag when you noticed this along with the other hypocrisies of this story. It's in the F-tier for my personal rating. I heard this story was axed. All I can say is it was for "its own good."

It was a poor concept, executed horrendously.

they find a new kind of trash to show off
There's a massive gaping hole at the center of this story, that makes everything any of the younger characters achieve read like waste.

I don't want to spoil it any further, but don't bother reading if you have any respect for your own time.

I never really like how in the original perspectives in these "kicked from party" stories the original party is basically SoL. They're written as fodder for the mc/hero of that story. The MC gets their cheat or they stop holsing back and the original party is left in the dust. Unable to grow, mature and their adventures and whatever dreams pretty much trashed. While yes in a lot of them the party acts like trash I wouldn't blame them since they're destined to be nothing but stepping stones. I'd curse god everyday if that were me.

There were two kinds of stories I thought of that could be interesting when reading those stores one about a party member who learns in some way that their only destiny is to be the catalyst for the kicked out party members growth and decides to say fuck that to their destiny. The other is this story where the original party despite kicking the future cheat member continues to grow and doesn't look back on their decision.

I've enjoyed what I've read so far. The characters realize that they're noy as strong without the lost party member and take the ridicule they get when that member surpasses them. They continue to grow and learn without relying in cheats and learn how to do the tasks they left that member tondo because he couldn't do much. I see growth they're not blaming the lost member or begging him back they're actually progessing to become better. The reason they kicked him. To aim higher and ofc not get him killed.
