This one takes a lighter approach to vampires, with a bit of tension and drama but nothing to make it truly dark. My only complaint is that there was too little space to explore all the interesting subplots, like Hiiro's past and lifestyle, more of Hiiro and Atsushi's romance, and how they and Ibuki (Atsushi's nephew) live together; I'd have loved two more volumes of this, seriously. And, while there's a plot point near the end that does come across as a bit too convenient, it can be explained away fairly easily and, ultimately, doesn't hurt the story that much. The art is also really good, especially when the focus is on Hiiro's eyes.

I'd recommend it to those who want a wholesome vampire romance with just a hint of drama.
