The prequel series of spiral is way worse than, due to Imari being an extremely unlikable obnoxious son of a b*tch. Her hot headed nature, her violent tendency, Ryouko is also annoying but not as much Imari, Imari is a selfish dirt bag who is stubborn to find love despite the person not being interested. Rio was likeable. The story didn't payoff too much, but what kills it for is Imari one of the worst female characters I seen, I wish japanese authors make more likeable female characters like the battle angel alita series which excels in that itself. Overall don't recommend but I never felt so enraged due to a fictional in a long while.

well, it's prequel of spiral suiri no kizuna
just a little bit character introduction for villain in next series

so don't bother with the story and seek of after story, this already done

bcoz of it's long hiatus for scanlation i really don't know if this complete or not,hopefully it's complete because the last chapter can be considered ending for next manga or there is 1-2 chapter conclusion..

this manga, as well as its sequel, is my all-time fav!!!! amazing artwork, awesome characters, mystery, drama, romance, this manga has it all!!! i really hope someone continues to scanlate this manga!!!

i read this first, and then went on to Spiral without knowing that this was a sequel/prequel thing. BUT! The characters are still very alive, and I'm hoping for more from one of my BEST mangaka! But...I still think that you should read Spiral first, then Spiral alive.
