It takes way too much time to introduce the sci-fi elements. I mean a quarter of the manga is the MCs fucking and the chapters are short so you can probably read it in 3 hours ... It wasn't that hard to make the male MC an adult story wiseit would work better. Though the author he did a good job in portraying someone with the mental age of 15.

Also another weak point are the guys fron the future. It was funny when the first one's clothes there weird. But it takes 50 chapters for them to get actively involved, and the leader acts like a small child. I was waiting all that time for more time travel elements or for the MC to do some actual film making (one of the mistakes they did was excessively referencing media from when the manga was published).

Also after those 50 ch the future guys start wearing what looks like speedos and the FMCs torso is drastically reduced to to point it's painfully obvious ... And that doesn't make the story any better. It was clearly intended to make the story run for longer so it ends up being a mess

So, based on what I understand,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
"Gogle LLC" creates a self-learning AI that learns from the Internet activity of the users in the hopes of creating a human-like AI, but the source code for this AI is somehow leaked on the Internet. and ends up in China's hands, China then instals this AI inside of two "robots" named Plato and Socrates and sends both into space aboard a space shuttle. While the Chinese edition of this AI has the same capabilities as the original one developed by Google (such as becoming more human-like by gathering information via the Internet), It's even more advanced; it can materialise objects or creatures using advanced 3D printing technology and send them from space to Earth.

So, how does this AI use this technology, you might ask? The AI created its own Internet websites in a variety of languages with the intention of learning more about humans. The website accepts all types of petitions from its userbases; users can anonymously vote for things like making the sky rain shit, killing a politician, or materialising a Dragon based on a concept art image sent by a user. Every day, the AI grants the most upvoted wish. The result was disastrous; too many edgy teenagers used the websites, resulting in the Kaiju setting, in which giant monsters attack on a regular basis.

Finally, upon encountering this AI, the two robots materialised as a fat and filthy-looking gamer version of Plato and Socrates, and both have the personality of the typical 4chan incel; they speak in contemporary Internet slang, were "coomers", were misogynists, and randomly threw memes or Internet slang and buzzwords. It appears that this transformation occurred because it is how the average Internet user—or, in the manga, the average human—behaves
.

The Sci-Fi concept is fine, but Oku apparently decided to combine it with a romance story between an aspiring movie director who was still in high school and underage, and a porn actress who had issues with her family, who financially abused her, and a boyfriend who physically abused her. And then both student and porn star fall in love, she receives a device from one of the heroes from the future who were sent to stop the impending disaster, which turns her into a giant and fights giant monsters, saves Tokyo, quits porn and becomes a famous beloved hero and celebrity, until

she was exposed for fucking an underage boy and is shamed and gets cancel culture
.

The execution was terrible; it failed to focus on the mystery behind the supernatural stuff and instead focused on the romance; it felt as if the entire dangerous event were a mere subplot, while the romance is the main plot; there was a chapter where the protagonist ignored the presence of a flying dragon because he was too busy texting his girlfriend; way to downplay the tension. The events felt so random in the first half that you have no idea what the manga wants to be; no wonder so many people dropped the manga and left negative reviews that fail to describe what the work was even about.

Poor manga overall

This manga shows Oku Hiroyas lack of ability to show and create deep and nuanced characters. I love what he have done with Gantz (which shares alot of the same problems with characters and their nuance, depth and behaviors and values).

And tries to hide this with ecchi or pervy themes. And a fastpaced story. I’m really dissapointed in the main story around the main characters and that the savior is a pornstar, is always naked and have pretty uncommon or unrealistic proportions. In a semi-realistic world.

It makes many characters seem like objects instead of characters or humans.

+ Interesting tactics with how to beat attackers, alright backstory of sci-fi elements

- Characters design, view on women/men, very socially handicapped behaviors and story overall, stupidly sex-driven and repetitive.

Oku’s fast paced storytelling and ability to create mystery and making his readers ”just want to know what happens next” is what kept me reading for longer than expected.

The series is supposedly expected to run for 10 volumes. Not sure why I’ve read this far. But I only got about 1-2 volumes left on the story. So that will do.

WTF is that.
I will not give anyone a spoiler about that manga, but it has a "bad" premise, yet it's unbelievably mysterious. Full of surprises, history and incredible art.

Another manga by the guy who gave us Gantz and the manga about the bionic old man. He also did Hen long ago. He can actually draw figures who look like real people! And full backgrounds that look real too, so I would read this just for that!

When it comes to story and sci fi concept, Oku never does the standard or the obvious, and, as several guys where I was watching this said, if it's by this manganka, soon all Hell will break loose.

I look forward with happy anticipation.
