I really enjoyed the first few chapters, they made me very interested in the series going forward. The concept was very cool and I was excited to see where it was going.
The mystery, however, seemed to be going nowhere. Some stuff with Shiori and Sota was interesting, but it didn't seem to be resolved in any interesting way. More like dropped. The ending itself was also very disappointing.
I liked how lively and dynamic the art was, but a lot of times I was left confused, because it jumps so much between times and lockations, and the author fails to set it up well. I liked the artstyle, but composition and readability as a comic was lacking.
In the end I was left disappointed. The series is more interesting than it is good.

Taizan5 does character building extremely well. As a tradeoff, their series have not gone past 2 volumes. As of chapter 13, the entire Ichinose family could be much more explored and examined, with at least 3 more arcs involving the grandparents and 1 resolving the parents. This particular series does not follow one character as their other works, which reserves some hope that it will be Taizan5's first longstanding work post Takopi's Original Sin. The dynamics of each character are surprising and the world's characters respond realistically, making the many twists in just the last 13 chapters attention grabbing. Highly highly highly reccomend this series and will be updating as it progresses.

review as of ch 44. i think the author may have gotten caught up with shonen jump rankings and twist endings. every chapter has a new change or plot development that makes the series as a whole feel so much more fast paced. there's no time to take in changes and sit with it, because there's always something new. when i caught up in the last 30 chapters we had already moved on from the original family, who's problems still haven't been worked out, to

a new "family" with its whole new set of problems
. it also feels as if every character's sanity and even if they're really alive or just

are always called into question. i think the author just has too many elements to juggle and as a result is failing at capturing anything. art is still dynamic and interesting though.
