this work really makes it obvious that my weakness in bl (aside from childhood friends), is a really erotic uke combined with some kind of angst.
I really don't care for S&M stories but I really loved the first couple a lot. As confirmed in the prequel, it was evident that the seme in this story had a history of being the uke in other relationships. I really appreciated that he really wasn't a sadist at all, he just wanted to please his masochist lover. I got the feeling that he would appreciate if they switched roles every now and then (MORE REVERSIBLE COUPLES PLEASE), but I also feel that the uke would be loathe to give up that role willingly xD I'd love to see this story and its prequel fleshed out more!
The reviews here all dismiss the second story, but honestly I loved it xD unrequited love is absolutely my jam and there was just something about the uke that made him absolutely heart-rending for me. I love the inexperience of both characters and the uke giving into his desires. I wish the seme had more characterization, but eh, the story was so short anyways.
Third story was nice and filled with angst, which always gets me. I ate all the drama, hook, line and sinker. I wish we could have learned more about the seme. He just swooped in and grabbed the uke like a prince, haha. A chapter in the seme's perspective would have been nice.
Overall, I really enjoyed this collection. I loveee how this mangaka writes angst and I'm going to look for more of it now.

First story is definitely the most tolerable out of the whole book. It's not super amazing or anything, but there are a few cute moments to take away from. Second story is just a oneshot so I could overlook the underdeveloped abruptness of it all. Third story didn't impress me much mainly because of the mangaka's execution. She didn't do terrible but it wasn't a stellar job either. We're supposed to feel sorry for the main character or whatever but I honestly couldn't come to care for him or his love life at all.

The relationship dynamic of the first couple is really interesting. Initially I wasn't keen on reading after seeing the first couple but their story was surprisingly really good! All the couples here are too cute. The oneshot chapter was a bit weak, that's not really sensei's strongest point. Still giving it a 10 for the art and smut heheh. A big thanks to the scanlators!
