Sooooo goood. SOOOOOO good. Very different than my fav Kill Me Now that is full of toxicity and twisted romance but I can't but like''Her tale shim Chon'' because it is very wholesome.

how people doesnt know difference between chinese element and korean? Literally main character is in chinese clothing and in red ancient wedding dress in this... She got married in China bpt in Korea in plot..

The art is gorgous, the men in their lives are all horrible and wow make me feel so god damn sad for them and the leads have a very intresting dynamic. The mc's backstory was heartbreaking plus the fortune teller's, fl was also in a really bad place and the amount of hate all the people were throwing at them. Definitely made me tear up and the ending was well deserved, I wish their world would change for the better but it is what it is. Overall, a really touching story with a great couple and amazing art. I do wish there were more side stories or epilogues.

Well I'm glad everyone else seems to like this story so much, but I sure didn't, it's such a bleak, cruel, depressing world, it's just so full of oppression, abuse, brainwashing and the people are simple minded, scared, greedy bastards.

There wasn't a single man in this story that you didn't whish would die a painful death (half the women too), and that's kinda unrealistic, it makes it look like this story was written by a lesbian who hates all men, but then again if everyone really believed that all men were kings and women were just dogs that needed to be held on a short leash and disciplined then I guess it's hard not to grow up and act like an asshole.

Anyway the whole story is just one long struggle, making you feel helpless and frustrated and I don't know about you but I don't like those feelings, the real world sucks enough as it is, or was that the point ? to tell me that it could be worse ?

The ending brought some light back into this world (and story) but not much, they still live in a supremely sexist world, that's never gonna change, so I have no confidence that they will live happily ever after, the after-story ended just when it was starting to become enjoyable.

This is probably the best manhwa I have ever read, not only in terms of it being a GL. Like in general, this is truly the best. Like the other comment has stated, it’s so intense!!! I really like how the plot is going so complex yet so neat, with all the mysteries one by one get resolved in a very classy way. Also in this manhwa i keep on sighing because lmao all the males are so conceited and toxic, they really cant think straight lol.

You can imagine my frustration that I cant scream out loud to my friends how great this piece of art is bcs it’s GL :’’ BUT don’t get me wrong that wasn’t something that drags down this manga bcs the tension between Cheong and Madam is top notch 😭😭😭 ngl it’s the main first motivation for me, so I’m so so so elated that the plot is hella strong as well. The giddiness I felt from seeing them is so immeasurable, they are so cute sjhfkrjd.

ANYWAY i first read it months ago and i just reread them lol. It’s gonna be so hard for me now to find another GL gem because you’ve set the bar too high. Thank you for this, authornim and artistnim!

The most intense webtoon I've ever read, and I've read dozens of them. Kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning till end. Solid art all the way through, and I'm all here for women supporting women in a patriarchal world. Speaking of which, I can't remember a single male character that was truly good. A solid 10/10.

There a very few decent Shoujo-ai/GL content out there, and this is one of them.

The art is beautiful, the plot is interesting and the characters are so well fleshed out.
A definite star in this genre. I personally have a hard time finding any decent shoujo-ai that covers all three points above, and its honestly frustrating. So thank you Seri & Bi-wan for bringing this comic to life 🙂

I'm really hoping this gets picked up by an English webtoon site soon, as I would love to support them both!
I look forward to all the future releases and content these two come up with!

Honestly, I read a lot of manhwas and many of them rushed ending et many things aren't explained BUT this one, 'Her ShimCheong' was AMAZING! I liked everything, the plot, the characters, the ending. I liked how the author put feminism and many things about the hard life of women in the story.
The art was great too! I especially liked the drawing of the Madam (she's so cute :3).
Go guys, I recommend it.
