Was a fun read but like most manga it suffered from a half-baked ending.

The art was decent, the story didn’t seem to have any direction, the characters felt bland and unimportant and I personally felt nothing for any of them, and overall the mysteries that were revealed weren’t surprising at all.

At first the story seemed to go in a supernatural direction, then the author made a change in plot, and seemed to make more changes later on that made the story feel rushed and overall fairly boring.

I know where the story will be told,, it's kind of telling itself from the story, but damn, the story in the last volume is ever too much speedy it needs a brake...

as if it wants to end it ASAP, the just skip many many parts, and boom, end...
like wtf... no conclusion or something
people are dying in those place and it is people from the university which the police mostly will be investigating, but no.. it goes smoothly and *boom* there the happy occurrence

while I enjoy the plot, I really hate the last volume, how it tells the ending
so for building up the plot, I will give 9 but the ending I give it just 3, for average 6
you will enjoy the plot with this mild nudity and some sex innuendo (well sometimes "it" is there)
but you will really hate as the ending is too much rushed

The first chapter seemed interesting, and it seemed like the MC was going to find a way to escape the island or get revenge. However, after a few chapters it turned into an only Ecchi plot with some hints of the real story. The story then was made to fit sex scenes into the series. This manga should have been better made into a hentai.
I have noticed this since I began reading manga or light novels, but it seems like if the main characters gets betrayed by someone close to them. The MC will eventually forgive them and make an excuse that their was a good reason for the betrayal. This series obviously has it, so another reason I dropped it.

It's interesting how people go to great lengths at masking their reason as to why they like this kinda manga. Dark, tragedy, sad story? Ha Ha Ha

To each their own, I guess. It's not wrong to like echi and sexualize at all, especially if they got good story like highschool of the dead and this manga

The introduction of this Manga really picks my interest. It got the atmosphere, the theme, and the mood. Though, the author didn't give us much detail on the main characters. I hope the later chapters would portray more background on the main characters.

The drawing is one of the perks of this manga. Hara Tsumoi really pulls off this aspect very well. Kudos to her!

Anyway, I heard that this author has drawn some Hentai doujinshi. Anyone got info on this?

The basic idea is the MC is stuck on an island whose inhabitants are people who live forever by transplanting their spirits into newborn babies, effectively taking over new bodies so they can live longer. This has been happening for centuries now and the MC is caught up in all of this.

That being said, the MC's role in this manga is still very unclear, his objective of escaping this island has obly been addressed once and more and more side characters get introduced and more backstory is shown each chapter without giving the MC the attention he needs.

At plain sight, it just like how ajaykumaryadav describes. But the world has infinite Birth & Death cycle (Buddha's teaching), we all like that but in this manga's crenario the island's villager retained their memory of the last cycle (when in norm we're not).

Unless you are a fan of pathetic and lame MC.

Also if you are one of the psycho's who enjoy innocent people suffering for our great random plot...*sigh* i seriously regret reading this...also there is a friggin great ton of rape involved so please consider before reading
