From Psycho Pandas:
A 4 page story about an 8-year-old boy who doesn't understand the difference between life and death and the man who helps him.
Oneshot (Complete)

There's not much going on here I admit, but that doesn't seem to bother me too much apparently. A short, simple 'story' that rather introduces the on-the-spot situation without dwelling on details and an elaborate background. I can't say it's completely fulfilling since we readers hardly got to know anything, but a cut into the lives of characters of a most random origin for a moment isn't that bad.
Not much could be developed considering it was only a few panels. However, I think this one-shot provides more of a backdrop for it's sequel so you can't see it as a stand-alone (also, you should all read the sequel.. it's very endearing!)
This story fails to be thought provoking, there was no emotional connection to the characters as they were there for 4 pages, and I couldn't get a firm grasp on the complete situation the boy was in.
In the end... this oneshot seemed more like a little segment from a story than anything and felt very incomplete.
2/10 - Didn't like it
