Description

The Mad Demon, Jaha Lee, dreams of becoming the God of Martial Arts. Unfortunately, his dreams are dashed after he falls off a cliff while running from the Demonic Cult for stealing the Jade of Heaven. Yet this is not the end for Jaha -- he awakens from the fall to find himself back in his 20s. With his knowledge of the future and of martial arts, he now has a chance at revenge and at getting life right this time. This is really fun to read and the comedy with subordinates and enemies, especially his own monologues is hilarious. Cha Sungtae is the goat.

It will be jarring if you've read other murim manhwa because characters don't hastily jump towards their death because MC killed their leader or something. But it's done well and there are evil mfs who will still do and die the death they deserve. MC doesn't pointlessly kill everyone, he'll spare them if he can.

MC is OP due to the heavenly pearl that helps him absorb QI quickly. There isn't needless fluff that Manhwa really have in order for MC to gain stronger.

When I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. Once you grasp the tone of the story it only continues to grow more priceless. It’s honestly at the point rn where I don’t even care where the story is going, I just want to watch my man go about his business and learn more about who he is.

For my murim series, I usually like straightforward martial stories like Legend of the Northern Blade over power fantasies. So, since this has reincarnation in the plot pitch, I avoided it for a long time. Big mistake, it's hilarious. Yes, the MC is stronger than most of his opponents, but the plot isn't about him grinding, but rather building a community around him. And it actually has a great side cast, unlike other similar series where's two relevant NPCs. It follows a fairly repetitive cycle for a while of "beat bad guy/bully his subordinates into submission/attract the attention of bigger bad guy", but it's all in the execution. One of the few webtoons I've felt like giving a reread as soon as I caught up.

This is a masterpiece. On par with the greatest estate developer.

At first, when it came out, I didn't like it. I didn't know what kind of story I was getting into until I realized what kind of character he is and gave it a go yesterday. Best decision I made. I don't think I laughed this much in a long time.

The characters are the best. Especially Yi Zaha, I've never come across such a unique character in all my years reading manga/manhwa. The craziness is on point, you can't predict what he'd do.

The humour and action is 10/10, making this one of my faves!!! this mc is so fcking unhinged and witty i adore him. king of raigebait. hes violent but we cant bring ourselves to hate him since in the end hes doing to for valid (?) reasons. The art is also great, and theres a charming cast of side characters who are also well developed!!

Lee Jaha is really one of the characters that I really love despite his psychotic tendencies. From the first time I read this, I couldn't put it down and would laugh for a few good minutes then continue on. I really, really love this Manhwa that I couldn't stop re-reading it a lot of times. This Manhwa is one of my treasures and I am already so excited for the next chapters to come!

Thank you very much, Author-nim, for the hard work! I would love it that you will continue Mad Demon faster, but your health is our very first priority. This masterpiece shall not be rushed, please!
