Description

Hidden gem

My goodness, I finished this work in 1h and i think it might be the one of the best ways I could spend my time. I don't want to spoil anything, long story short - the artist is seriosly good, it's a very short story but this is one of those rare series that just has it all.

Art style might come off a bit rought, but it's detailed and very expressive. Story pacing is really nice, every single scene naturally falls into its place. Characters are very likeable - I might be a bit biased here, cause my lifestory is very similar, but I really could sympathize with them. At first you're angry with them, but later you start feel bad for them: what they're doing is awful, it's straight up vile - and they're very well aware of this.They're hesitating cause they're aren't psychos or monsters, they're just normal people, but life pushed them too hard into the corner.

The ending... half of me feels like the ending is just a tiny bit rushed and way too good to be true. However these characters really stuck with me, I don't even care anymore if its lacking. I love them so much, I'm just happy they finally found some peace.

Firstly, I love the art and plot so much. It gave me the feels. The whole atmosphere and mood of this webtoon is one of nostalgia and bittersweetness, due to the nature of the plot and the characters' ordeals. Definitely in the slice of life genre!

My other only comment is, it's a good and happy ending in the end, but a bit too idealistic and unrealistic. Such a good ending doesn't happen to ppl who are actually swimming in debt -- it's one of darkness and despair that one can't easily get out of. Glad the author gave us a look into what it's like -- don't often get this in a series.
