So season One of the series just ended apparently. The Ending of it wasn't particularly bad. Cliché, but not horribly bad. Based off the ending it seems as though there will be at least 3 to 6 seasons. So it'll be quite a while until we get The Breaker back.

The characters are card board cut out clichés with only somewhat interesting back stories. Emily is the shy tsundere character who religiously calls Kang Wujin pervert. She's the only characters back story that I have much of any interest in. Though, I have low hopes for it.

Kang Wujin, is the declared pervert. Through accidents, he gets into "hilarious" situations where he looks like a pervert who can't keep it in his pants. If you have ever read any Korean or Chinese Martial Arts comics, novels, or web novels then hia back story is simple. He is a top talent martial artist who fights on the side of righteousness. They even go as far as to name him the Dragon God. As far as I can tell he's the good guy who gets into accidental perverted situations.

Sylvia, I think her name is? She's the cold tsundere character who lost her one and only father when she was but a wee little girl. I don't have much of a opinion on her as of this moment. I just found jer annoying and wished she disappeared.

The action scenes are awful. I'm a big fan of The Breakers action scenes. So when compared to The Breaker, Trinity Wonder seems childish. I'll give example(Minor if not irrelevant spoiler):
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Chapter 24. When things look like they are about to ger serious all of a sudden here come jokes. I kid you not jokes. The most prominent is where Kang stares at Sylvia's breast. Comic relief is not bad in some situations but timing is key. The author clearly forgot this. The reason why this is such a prominent thing: Is that these enemy's at the time were unknown so there potential threat is unknown. So when a joke such as that appears ir immediately ruins all tension, and, shows that the threat they pose is next to nothing.

The concept of this series is interesting I'll give it that, but it's execution is a joke.

Read it for the enjoyment, the comedy and of course the nice action

Well, It's my first time writing a review here, but seing this is a story of the author of The Breaker, I just had to do it.

I quite liked The Breaker. It was a Manhwa with a mature setting and likable characters (we had a MC who grew form weak to a quite capable and his badass teacher who had a love interest but still played a playboy in the fear of keeping anyone too close to his heart because of his revenge AND we had enemies whe were egistical, self centered and simply great adversaries) who even experianced some growth throughout the story.

Now before I start, on needs to be aware that this story is no longer a Manhwa but a Webtoon and possibly targets a different audience than The Breaker.

Trinity Wonder no longer plays in the 20th century and focusses on cultivation, but takes us to a science fiction world of the future into which a magician and a cultivator are thrown.

Now this being an Webtoon the story spend only little time on the characters adjusting to this strange environment or character development, sprincles it quite a lot with comedy scenes and soon moves on to the action. The story is fast paced and the action scenes look nice in color, though as the focus is sci-fi, magic and a powerful cultivatior the action is quite... showy.

The graphic itself as just great and it being in color is a nice addition.

Now for the characters we have:
Sylvia, the shrewd, but kindhearted Daughter of the early deceased owner of a leading company
Emily, the quiet, introverted female magician
AND "Murim Dragon God" the powerful, naive Cultivator liked and protected by the heavens (you could even see him as a MC of a typical japanese Manga - he lost a fight several(?) times only to miracously survive to get stronger (for example he falls of a cliff but survies and finds a one-of-a-kind plant boosting his power by several times), he doesn't need to train at all as he is a natural talent (even in the sci-fi world he only struggles at the very beginning before quickly becoming OP).
We do get to know the background / story of all MC's, though so far I only find the story of Emily promising.

As for the enemies of each arc, they are monstly "not bad" guys and the story tries hard to even give them a sad background as a reason for their behaviour. (We so far only have one human enemy who still remains a bad guy, though he rather appears a bit crazy than bad and he too weak to be a real adversary. And we have a monster which while being a powerful enemy is too "brainless" to be an adversary.)

STILL it is a nice and captivating read and keeps one wanting to read the next chapter and the next.
Read it for the enjoyment (it is mostly light and fluffy and you don't have to think / deal with complicated scenaries), the comedy and of course the nice action.
Don't expect much of a character development - yet, or a deep story.

Interesting concept, lacking execution

It was quite interesting at first, nothing extraordinary but enjoyable. The concept is fun, the art is great. But then characters begin making absolutely stupid decisions because the writer kinda wants them to, and somehow tries to make you like characters that you have no reason to. It made me stop reading it entirely.

Inbetween Breaker

So coming from the same guys as Breaker I expected this series to be good. And it is exactly that, it has great art and great panel and action formatting. The story can be a hit or miss for people because I believe it is trying ro become this huge thing even though I think the main draw are the three main characters specifically the male lead.

This series is a fun read without that much thought needing to go into it unlike Breaker which is nice until their main project continues.

_Stargate_ meets _Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai..._? Interesting

I have not completed reading _Breaker_ (which is not bad), but so far I like this story better. A martial artist from a sect/clan world like most Chinese light novels. A magician from a dungeon based world like most Japanese light novels. Both of them enter a more technologically advanced civilization, and meet together with a third person who seems to be a genius inventor. The action is awesome so far, and I find the series funny as well. If that is not enough, the characters are good looking.
