Personally, I enjoyed this one, it's not as bad as the other review says it is, the mc is not a masochist or a whore, the male lead is just a "mean but actually nice" type, and the story is far from a romcom or a shojo romance, the story was pretty decent, art is pretty good too, overall its enjoyable.

The leads are very unlikeable, superficial and generic and the antagonists are ignorant and evil enough that they could be villains in a telenovela. A lot of the comedic scenes work well enough to rescue this from being terrible. Maybe it's just my standards but I can't put up with melodrama when the characters stink but I can easily enjoy comedy even if the characters are super generic.

That being said compared to a lot similar recent titles it compares pretty positively and it's rare to see a series that's just a regular amount of "bad" instead of absolute garbage.

It's pretty generic, although the synopsis of this series doesn't line up. First off the MFL isn't a Villainess albiet she's treated like one with all the Villainess tropes you get in a first chapter and the MML isn't a villain just an asshole. All in all with the one chapter its showing its gonna be the usual 3-4 volume shoujo rom-com (I dunno if so far I'd classify it as romcom though, it's pretty drama heavy chapter 1)
