Have you ever read a story where you don't really like any of the characters, yet you can't help but keep reading it because you want to know how the conflict resolves? Yeah, that's Sugar Rain for me. Both Yohan and Helbert are incredibly frustrating -- most of the conflict in this series could be solved if both just talked to each other, instead of internalizing everything.

Even if they did talk to each other, though, the dialogue is so sparse in this series, it's amazing how the plot is even coherent. And the art... the artist is extremely talented but tell me why everything is so g-damn shiny. The way the lighting and highlighting is drawn makes everything look like it's sparkling, and it's just... too much. Helbert is literally all veins and sparkles. That's it.

The only reason why I'm rating this anything higher than a 1 is Yohan's brother is super cute (as is Yohan in his chibi form). Pass on this one or wait until it's completed so you an binge-read it. Don't torture yourself by waiting for updates.

Maybe it's just me but my anger issues could not. The top is a rich guy who's kind of an asshole and the bottom is poor and ANNOYINGLY stubborn. They're both just so unlikeable.
