Description

A story that starts with the worst possible encounter, but ends up with the sweetest couple. A serious romantic comedy about the relationship between a gal and an otaku. Kiyomi is an otaku who enjoys dating sims. One day, he encounters his classmate Eri Nanjo attempting to have sex with a classmate. Disapproving of her actions, he tells her that he is not interested in her. The next day, Eri changes her appearance to be closer to his preferences. Feeling regrets about her previous promiscuity, Eri asks Kiyomi out to teach her about real love.

No, that's not true. Some other reviews seemed to like it and I'm happy for them. I saw the reviews shitting on this for being "ntr" (it's not) and for the fl being a slut (that's the point) and was even more drawn to it because I was under the impression it would be a "slut learns to love romantically" story, like a sort of overtly romantic version of Tomodachi Toshite Daisuki. Unfortunately despite the whole idea being that she puts aside her promiscuousness, the story still feels overly sexual, with regular gratuitous panty shots and the mc very quickly giving into pursuing her sexually. The leads have the most forced chemistry possible so there really is nothing to their relationship other than a totally contrived attraction.

If you're here because you're horny but require strict monogamy, apparently the fl will disgust you. If you actually like ntr, this isn't even that. And if you hate sex, this still feels like a sexually driven romance. So who IS it for??

All of the negative comments are bitter incels who were not able to read past the first chapter. If you make it to chapter 22, you get the manga’s payoff and it is satisfying.

May not be as good as When I Returned to My Hometown, My Childhood Friend Was Broken, but it is still fulfilling to see two people save each other from self-destruction.

I have no idea what some of the comments were smoking, but this is a cute romance between a broken gyaru finding love for the first time, and a serious otaku.
Recommended.

It amuses me how people actually haven't read the story before rating and reviewing (not just on this site). I'll be clear: there isn't ANY NTR or cheating or even any other love interests.

But basically, the female lead has never actually had any romance or love in her relationships, and was to be frank, emotionally blackmailed (i.e. 'If you don't put out, I'll break up with you) in the past, so she doesn't really have a good concept of what a healthy relationship is. So she rather forcibly goes out with the MC (he still agreed), first out of shock that someone turns her down, but then later out of feelings.

Frankly, if you took out the part where she's had tons of sex in her life, this is incredibly pure, wholesome fluff. But haters are going to hate, so you end up with mixed reviews. The MC has some minor OCD issues, but approaches things with honesty. He has to grow as well in this relationship.

Hilariously enough, the MC's friend LITERALLY has the stock 'hentai rapist protagonist' design (eye covering bangs and all!) with a stupidly attractive black-haired girlfriend. If you only look at the pictures, it hilariously looks like the friend is a rapist and the girl he's going out with was NTRd or something. (That couldn't be further from the truth, she's very vocal and crass).

So yeah, give this a shot and form your own opinions.
