Sort of nice but has run it's course

Read the manhwa to its current chapter and with mtl the novel. I'm just going to say it's a BL-like story where the MC is pretty much a woman. Most stories will never get to the nsfw stuff so it doesn't matter that they say he's a guy. Interactions are pretty much about having the MC, El bounce off one another while shippers jot things down. The ending is kind of disappointing and the cast is pretty mid since we know what they are. Stock characters in the commedia dell'arte who wear their roles on their sleeve so blatantly that even the most ignorant readers know who's who. Even after reading the ending, it feels too "airy". As if none of this really mattered and the reader is just so person playing this in the background like a podcast.

Start with the right mindset

This one suits my tastes, but whether or not others will enjoy it depends on their mindset. The best way to determine whether or not you will enjoy this is to read the first 7 chapters. That's really all you need to get a firm grasp on the mc's personality. Then pause and ask yourself, do I want to read 200 more chapters of adventures with this mc? If no, then drop the story and forget you ever read it, cause the mc keeps the EXACT SAME personality throughout the series. For those disappointed, the mc becomes an immortal, god-like, powerful being with no natural enimes. With those kinds of specs, wouldn't the most likely plot be about how their strong personality and uncompromising values influences those around them? The adventure is just dressing, the meat and potatoes is the characters interactions.

Other comments give a good overview but miss out problems with the story.

The plot and premise is great, however it is MC is a poor fit for it.

The MC begins as an immature child - which is fine, but then fails to grow or mature at a good pace as the story develops.

The MC has the power to heal or destroy the world at will but fails to grasp the significance and act prudently.

Overcoming one’s past does not give you the excuse to abuse your position of power (through negligence). The world has gods and magic but doesn’t have a mechanic to mature a personality that becomes the water spirit king? Typical contrived story telling.

Not about fighting, more about exploring a fantasy world and dealing with one's past and identity

This is a work that focuses on how the MC deals with being thrust into a fantasy world where they have to reconcile their past with their new identity and circumstances. I recommend reading this if you want to explore a fairly unique fantasy world with a fairly lighthearted tone in a story more about character development than fighting and you don't mind reading 5 chapters before you judge it.

A major focus is the MC trying to overcome an abusive past, trying to attain a sense of belonging and family, and dealing with the fact that, because of their new incarnation, people see them very differently (i.e. they were a frumpy guy before and now they are a very beautiful genderless person). That being said, this isn't some super serious introspective work, the humor and adventure give it a very lighthearted tone.

In terms of action, it mostly consists of the MC exploring the fantasy world they're in and going on adventures. There are some fights, but they are a very, very minor part of the work as a whole.

A large element of this is comedy, in the form of the characters interacting with each other in humorous ways.

This work, like the novel it's based on, has a bit of a slow start, chapter 5 is where you start to get into the meat and potatoes of it.
