There's no cancer!

It's hilarious how people say the author baited cancer when the character was only getting saline IV. It's something really commonly taken in Korea (and I guess China) for fatigue and the common cold.

This is such a gem of a story. The relationship between the two ML's are so adorable and it builds up so beautifully. One of the best slow burns ever, plus the side characters are a treat too!

Those side stories (fyi contains spoilers)

I really liked this story even though it was a slow burn the characters were well developed of course we always prefer when there’s more smut but I liked the story so much I didn’t mind it or miss it. I’d have to say that the only thing I would have preferred for the author to have done differently was that two of the side stories implied one of the main characters had a cancer and was hiding it from the other. There’s no real resolve to this huge plot twist. As a reader you are left to resolve on your own whether that cancer was revealed or not and how it affected the relationship. I don’t think that this was a good move because you’ve already ended the main story and now you introduce a huge plot twist in the end with no real results . Your left wondering as a reader is the main couple not have a happy ending after all it’s a bit of a sucker punch. You have to wait through several other side stories until you get to the last side story set years in the future after the cancer plot twist to see that the main couple is still together. Cancer is never mentioned again in the story and you are left to wonder what happened. After such a well written story this seemed like a unresolved plot twist that I just did not understand the purpose of at all and I felt took away from the story. Other than this point this was a good read.

Refreshing! Loved it!

I loooved all the characters! I always enjoy stories that actually give value to side characters and I end up being attached to every single one of them. This was very enjoyable to read, all the couples stories are amazing but let me say Huan Wen's storyline broke my heart, I cried so much with every panel with his face and I lost it with the panel where his tears were pouring uncontrollably, I poured my eyes out with him as well.

Loved it, I'll remember every single character as if I met them in real life.

PS: The author's humor at the end of some chapters really lightened up my mood and I really appreciated those note.

New and fresh but dragging on without direction

The story is really something new and exciting for the genre. The characters feel real, have depth and a have their individual pasts and shaping experiences.

The art is also fresh and expressive. There is a good range of variations in the characters and the "uke" is not overly feminized - if it even is possible to talk about seme/uke roles as several of them could be either.

It's definitely a series that deserves top marks, however, at times it seems to lose track, switch focus to other couples than the main one and leave the reader wondering what just happened. The story alternates back an forth between mainly two couples while as a reader you sometimes wish to be able to follow the narrative of just one of them for a longer time without being left with a cliffhanger every time the focus is switched to the other couple.

At this moment I feel no sense of direction to the story. It is no longer building to any climaxes lie it did in the beginning. Hopefully more climaxes are in store otherwise the majority of the story will just have been about how the characters became couples and not have lead up to anything else.

Absolutely wonderful series with fantastic, out of this world art. If I could commission the author to write this series forever, I honestly would just for that. And the banter and everything else between the characters is so so cute.

Such a good college-age slice of life. Everyone is adorable and so good and just, you know, fully-realized people. Dickheads and greasy men are actually called out for what they are. Also, the author's laugh-out-loud funny and it shows in the writing and his commentary/doodles.

This title reminds me of Check! Please (college age, hockey-focused) by Ngozi Ukazu since they've pretty much the same tone and humor. Although I'm pretty sure Yu Yang would overshadow Bitty if placed on a showdown (just kidding, they'd probably end up gushing at each other).

A very good manhua

This manhua is so good. First, the art is beautiful, clean, and detailed. Second, the story may be slow burn, but it's nicely paced that I never had the thought "this manhua is so slow." The characters are all unique and have layers to themselves, making them realistic. (I LOVE Yu Yang. So much.) I have to mention that the story is realistic too, nothing dramatic and over the top; I think some people can relate? Overall, I wish the perfect rating I gave here will stay until the end!
