It's nonsense.

The premise is supposed to be about someone getting reincarnated to get justice on his killer. But then it's entirely dropped for the sake of spreading nonsense about the superficial entertainment industry. Like, if it portrayed it realistically, I could understand, but they just make it so cringe worthy.

I was expecting total cringe, but then I got an S-tier manga

I thought I'd try the story. It sounded crazy to me, but the anime was coming out soon and I was curious. I was expecting total cringe, but then I got S-tier manga. I'm glad I lived to get another totally unexpected, unpredictable, and interesting story slamming me in the face.

The author has skillz with a 'z'. They took a crazy plot, genre that I don't like, and content that I don't understand, then they presented it in the most comprehensible and entertaining way possible to blow my mind. The nonsense plot was made plausible by talent.

The story hits hard. I thought it was was going to be more like some kind of weird comedy, but it turned out to be a dead serious story. It still has a superb sense of humor, but the part that I like the most is how the story wasn't meant to be a joke. The story the author is trying to tell is an S-tier story, S for seriously good.

The characters really shine in this manga. They have strong personalities and presence. The interesting point is that most of the supporting characters are dynamic and alive. They change with the story in a natural way. In average and good manga, most of the characters wouldn't be dynamic like this because it is difficult to evolve them. In those manga, only the lead characters would have the potential to be dynamic and have a strong presence.

The illustrations are really great too. The artist does an amazing job with the faces, expressions, eyes, and body language. Most of the time I don't notice these things in any manga, but this time I could feel and understand emotions from the illustrations. That was amazing. I'll sometimes just look at a normal panel and think, "It feels like I'm actually looking at some tired girl sitting down on a bench in real life. Did the artist have a friend sit down like 100 different times as a model to make this illustration😕" It's almost like the manga is getting animated in my head and I can almost hear voices. Then there are some important and special scenes where the artist puts in a lot of work to hammer the climatic nail down. They really know how to throw around emphasis when and where it's needed.

The artist is pulling some big weight here!

Character

Their character was not really tied up to their past lives which is very unrealistic, never talk about their past family.. but in the latest chapter they did which surprise me that it took the writer this long for them to talk about it in the story. Story is good except for those some unrealistic character traits. But now That the author explained it, i kinda realize that maybe they didn't talk about their past cuz they had trauma prior to their new life. Which i take back my negative comment about but somehow they should have talk about it sooner and the 2 main characters didn't rven talk about who they're in their past life considering they're sibling and the guy is over protective. Anyways, Really excited for the new chapter.

A look into entertainment industry

I stumbled onto this manga two days ago, completely by accident, but I'm so glad I did!

The manga starts a little bit frivolous, but quickly gets serious. The story follows the main characters as they get deeper into the entertainment industry. Their character growth is gradual and believable. The mangaka manages to present various aspects of the industry in a surprising depth, and from multiple perspectives.

I like it when a great artist pairs up with a great storywriter, and this is obviously the case here, with Scum's Wish artist Yokoyari collaborating with Kaguya-sama's writer, Akasaka. This means great art and great story, delivered weekly without compromises. In-depth translator's notes at the end of most chapters are a cherry on top.

Highly recommended.

I really liked the first chapters but since then it's going nowhere.

There was no progress in the main plot for like 30 chapters now, the entertainment setting completely took over the whole story and now we have multiple chapters about the backstory of irrelevant background characters like some mangaka.

Surprised crime thriller and entertainment industry facts

I thought this would had just been another reincarnation and happy happy story. Nope, I was wrong, go past the first few chapters and the manga goes quite dark and realistic. Explains how the entertainment industry is a hard hard life full of lies. I like it, can't give out too much much as my title says, I think its like a crime thriller (I might be wrong), and like Act-Age, working in the entertainment industry.
All the characters are special in their own way and I like quite a lot of them. The art is good too, drawn by the same person who made Scum's Wish, and writer of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War. NICE DUO!

Actually it didn't cross my mind that the story would grow better (even after such weird idea that was suggested to us from the first chapters). The characters' growth has mesmerized me into reading this some more. The manga itself is considered quite dark, however it still make sense somehow.

I didn't think the story would turn out like this. The more you read it, the more interesting the story to read. I hope so much for the continuation of this series.

I don't know wether my moral compass is wrong or people common sense just have too damn low bar of tolerance, but for me this manga is very unique. The story not too SoL yet not too drastical where there is only dark chapter one after another
