While the rest of the series isn't bad, the longer it goes on the more situations seem forced and the harder it becomes to suspend disbelief. While the start was somewhat extreme thematically it still felt grounded and realistic. After that it starts to feel more like Death Note with characters preparing for other character's preparations based purely off speculation yet somehow are still correct. They come to conclusions which are ridiculous based on the info given yet still play out. Kubo also lacks any level of grounded realism by the end. He is clearly superhuman and that's dumb and doesn't match the setting. It's still entertaining but it lacks the consistency and strong emotional core of the beginning.

Also to the people who hate Reika... She was written as an object and a plot propellant in the first arc rather than a character. She gets better if you give her a chance.

story begins as a salary-man killing his daughter's abuse boyfriend, and hiding his body.
he turns from normal regular person into a guy(who kills to protect his family).
everything about the story is great,
you will get breaking bad vibe with death note thriller experience

Here I am taking the hook, but this is a really interesting thriller manga. It's not about the mystery, but creating the mystery! Witness the story of a man on the run and his pedagogical explanations about how to get rid of a body.

Undoubtedly this must have been very difficult to write but the author did great and isn't letting us down. The story makes sense and as far my knowledge goes, the protagonist is a smartass. I'm going to expect a lot from them in the future !
