Okay. This was one of the first BL mangas that I've ever read. I do agree that the plot does seem a little cliche, however, that really just depends on how many BL mangas you've read. Since I was clearly new to BL at that time, I learned to actually appreciate the portrayal of the story. With that being said, I think it clearly has done its purpose of telling a YAOI story despite it being common.
Also, I'd like to add how Moegi-san is simply an outstanding mangaka. Very nice artwork.

I'm totally drawn in this series it is so lovely and full of Love! I don't understand people who thinks this is overrated what i really see is the pureness of their love, i don't mind if it is more longer and i hope it will get an anime series! The art is also great and the other stories included is also good, it is also funny. I really Love this it has all the factors for a BL manga. Good job for the author, honestly at first this manga is only sitting down in my library but i came across on a review about it so i picked it up and it's all worth it! I love the possesiveness of the seme and the understanding and gentle uke they totally balance each other, the other characters is also funny esp. Their families. Love love

Just the perfect amount of smut and the perfect Seme to balance the typical Uke and his drama. Love Kaede's sadistic and possessive personality.
Now all sensei has to do is write about the rest of Rintarou's brothers.

The uke was much more rebellious and less overwhelmingly kind in Volume 1, and the seme became cuter and less of a sadist after the first volume. Both are welcomed changes, and really made the story what it is now, and I love the way Kaede wants to be spoiled by Rintarou, but the fact that the personalities before and after don't line up is slightly irksome.
I didn't like it. Couldn't finish it. I tried.
The artwork was really nice. That's it.
Usually I can tolerate, even like, possessive a$$holey semes for the fun of it. Usually I can tolerate, even like, innocent pure-hearted ukes for the fun of it. But this one just rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe it was the fact that the seme I found unlikeable for some reason I can't put my finger on it. And most probably it was because the uke was so $tupid and clumsy that it was beyond irritating; it went beyond cute to plain annoying.

i just love this manga <3 it so cute and lovey-dovey~ and the art its clean and cute :3 one of my 5 favorite mangas
I'm not even done with the first three chapters and already this manga has some gorgeous artwork and Moegi Yuu sensei pens very sensual love scenes. Sure the sex scenes are a bit rushed into (the characters have sex within the first two chapters. But hey this is a smut manga after all) but the way Moegi plays out each intimate scene is sexy and erotic. The pacing and dialogue for each sex scene is so sexy it hurts.
Storytelling may not be a strength for Moegi Yuu, but most of her talent is portraying the steamiest love scenes, think Yamane Ayano's work.
Moegi has a cute shoujo style for her inking and toning and her men are drawn adorably as well.
I give it an 8.5.

Hmm, yeah, it's kinda overrated...but it's an enjoyable and cute read nontheless. Very little plot but hey, great scenes there *winks*
Definitely a good one for fluff lovers, but not really for me; I'm more of into manga with deep plot and slow romance. =)

Cliche. Boring. Repetitive. I could go on even more just to come up with adjectives to describe this manga. But I think those words have summed up pretty nicely what I wanted to convey already. And I don't think a manga could get any lower than that. Sure it's eye-candy and all to a lot of people, but it's seriously a no-no for me. I don't mind cliche, I don't mind eye-candy, I don't mind even absurdity, but only when they're done right. Sadly that's not the case here. I could just pray for the souls that received it differently from me.
I honestly do not understand why this manga has received so much praise. It's just an average episodic yaoi series. Volume one was the only good volume out of the series, I really don't see the point in prolonging it. I'm on volume three right now and just can't see my opinion changing on it with one more volume.
