both the stories are very good if a little cliche, but the endings for both are open ended. Way open ended for my taste- I wasn't able to get a sense of closure at all!

If this sort of thing frustrates you, I suggest you don't read this manga.

What did I just read?
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
So the main character is forced to become some guy's slave and that guy threatens him and attacks his girlfriend. Then the main character breaks into that guy's computer to try and see why he's doing this and ends up apologising for it even after everything that guy has done.
Well, this much I didn't really mind.
But then...
The story just ended without concluding anything. His girlfriend still doesn't know about them, the main character still hasn't made a decision about his feelings and then there's the other guy who is obviously in love with the main character as well.
Almost like there is supposed to be an extra chapter or two that got dropped on the way to print.

Could have been better

i like how both stories started off and everything was really good until the ending. Not just one, but BOTH stories had what seemed to me to be incomplete endings! When I got to the end, I thought I missed some pages. I went back to double check if I was really on the last page and when I was, I couldn't help thinking..."that's it?! where's the rest confused " Both endings are too unfinished for me. Otherwise, could have been quite good.

Open endings?????

seriously, is this series really finished ? confused I am not saying it is a super wonderful series (which is not, I have seen better, both regarding character designing, drawing style and plot lines) but it really bugs me why the mangaka has left both stories with such an unsatisfying endings? why she left her characters behind like they are some pieces falling from sky randomly? I don't have any problem with open ending but in the case of this manga, an uncertain, blurry conclusion had just ruined the whole feeling of the stories... totally disturbing.

However, it is still not a bad read. the drawings are neat and stories are kind of nice to read. it is full of cliche's of course and some times it is rushed but if you are not that picky, I think you maybe able to enjoy this.... if the endings don't kill your mood totally.

Excellent stories. They are both equally delicious!

The first one is about the 'can money buy love' issue, but it also delves into the issues of why one loves another and if those reasons are 'valid.' I thought Koide-sensei had a skilled hand at relaying the dynamics of multiple relationships. Her characters were believable, their reactions relatable. I could totally empathize with Daisuke's ability to give good advice but not live it himself.

I was engaged with all her characters (in both stories!) within only a few pages - that's magic!

Alas, if I was in Japan, I would completely stalk her, entreating her to finish the freakin' good stories! I'm sure I'd be able to bring up my rating to 10+ with a continuation. (And if I'm real threathening, maybe she'll include a little more roughness -and sex scenes! Punch 'em again, Harashima! Wahahahaha.)

Open Endings

This is why I normally read comments and look at the categories more thoroughly before reading something... Don't expect an ending, neither story has one! I was irritated with where the first story left off, but the second story really got me annoyed - probably because I was enjoying the characters far more in it and with where the story drops it, it just feels like
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
it's saying their friendship is officially over and the fun days they had as kids are gone forever. Wherever they go from here on out, they're ultimately going to hurt one another because of their feelings.

Basically, I can't recommend either of these stories unless you really like open-ended stories or ones where you get to make up what happens next in your head. Even then, I'd have a hard time saying much good about the title story unless you like Stockholm Syndrome stories.

Whats with the endings D: good stories but a let down to find yourself having to interpret the end, specially on the last story wth? So disappointing, I so wanted to know what would happen in the last story, the first one is easier to figure out but the last one.... -_-

Yeah, agreeing with everyone right now...
No ending what so ever on both stories, kinda sucked.
