i really should get around to writing a review for volume 1, but for now i'm just gonna leave this excerpt for chapter 1:
it's racism allegory
but will this turn out to be some solid shit i won't end up cancellin' like Attack on Titan (or Konosuba)? who~ knows~
one thing i should point out is that the art style is rather distinct
but not in the usual way. it gives off the vibe of "we're not worried about every panel being high quality (at all)", which makes it stick out
there's a whole panel with that one Euro bearin' a very wide completely black smile for some reason, though, but other than that it's fine. i just hope it's a sign of all the money goin' to the writing. 🤞🏿
even though that means the artist barely got paid >.>
this should be an interesting read, though, and it visually reminds me of Exiled from 100 Worlds--a very dope manga i'm still waitin' for online sites to get 'cause damn, son, that's some quality art [with an interesting power fantasy plot that atleast makes sense. it basically skipped the training ark, final ark, and jumped straight into a flipped(?) "let's see what everyone's life would be like if you abandoned them" arc...like that one movie... but flipped]
volume 1:
that all bein' said, it's quite problematic with the loli stuff. like... you'll be surprised where they take things and moreso how they handle it 🤔
it's kind of a refreshing take on the lolita matter and~ i kinda hope they're goin' somewhere with it
not that... ya know... not that volume 2's cover doesn't make certain traditions clear 🙄
i'll assume it's for marketing's sake and carry on
the manga's good, i likes it, and i plan to read more 👍🏿
