I feel so depressed reading this manga... It's like the story is made for the characters to take the hardest possible route to happiness. I mean, I read to be entertained not to be seriously frustrated. I'm sure there are people who will like this type of story, but it's just not for me.

The characters aren't annoying and even though they have their flaws, you just can't hate them. Yes, there may be some disturbing scenes where the uke gets raped (typical Omegaverse) but it has its reason and isn't just "oh omega! Lets rape him!" (I'm not excusing rape btw) The alpha and beta are awesome and I just don't know what to expect in every update since it always has me on the edge of my seat hoping the best for the characters.
OMEGAVERSE with deep characters

This story is based on the OMEGAVERSE. DO NOT SKIP the first few pages that actually explain what is going on...otherwise, you miss the biological aspect of the interactions and situations. If the manga that you are reading does not have the explanation pages, then you need to Google it.
The characters work in the sales department, and the frightfully cunning "omega" manager, Karasuma, has used his biology to secure a position that most "omegas" could never dream of having. The newbie underling, Takaba, is outwardly very easygoing, but the man has a proverbial spine of steel (and an endearingly snarky inner voice <3). What won me over was the achingly fragile vulnerability of the one, and the absolute self-control and dependability of the other. One of my absolute favorite pairings.

"People having gay sex in the office"

would have been a more appropriate title. I wish the office was better portrayed, too. After 200 pages I still have no idea what the heck they should do there. This probably is the main reason I kept reading this manga, although I didn't discover what the main characters' job was in the end.
This yaoi is probably the most unrealistic I've encountered (and I've read one where a character became another character's penis, so...). As I've written, the workplace is terribly vague and only serves as background for the countless sex scenes. Half manga basically consists in the seme/alpha running across the uke/omega while he's having sex (in the office) with 3-4 work clients. This is also what made the uke chief, and the only thing he seems to do. How having daily sex (in the office) with random people keeps the entire business running is another great mystery of this story.
Speaking of the characters, the seme wasn't too bad. But looking decent was easy, given how appalling everything else is in this story. He wasn't even that good, so I wouldn't advise reading this story just for him. The uke was... ugh... a living trope to the maximum. Sexy to the point people rape him? Check. With difficult past? Check. Slutty but secretly looking for the One True Love? Check. But what I didn't stand the most was that everyone seemed to regard him as some sort of genius or clever strategist when what he did was merely having sex (in the office). Which brings us back to the plot hole I already mentioned. How does having sex (in the office) translate to becoming chief and running a successfull business? "He had it with the right people" sounds a little too simplistic, at least in my opinion.
And what about the """pure""" lovestory with the seme? Totally unrealistic and also out of place, given how it was inserted in what basically is a hentai. I didn't understand why the seme fell in love with the uke. Was it because he pitied him...? Wow, such a good reason. Same with the uke, why did he fell in love with the seme? Was it because the seme was the only one who wouldn't have sex with him? 1) so clichéd and 2) he did end up having (a looot) of sex with him, so...
The art was good, especially since this is the first work of the mangaka. But this is still getting a 1, because it was so so trash. And I like giving 1s.

I loved this series so much. Lately I've gotten into the omegaverse genre, and as I found out, many, if not most omegaverse mangas have lots of abuse, then miraculous love stories. This manga had none of that. The characters were beautifully drawn, and the progression of their relationship didn't feel at all forced. While I wish there was more of a backstory given in the manga, and I felt that there were some loose ends that needed to be explained, I loved this story (and am excitedly waiting for the sequel).

Okay... Up until c.4 was released, I thought that Karasuma's just a carefree omega who would like to get laid with pretty much every alphas. And then c.5 came.
Overall, it's still not a perfect story, but chapter 5 had eased off a part of all those disturbance from the previous chapters, and I'm looking forward to read other chapters as well. This is a good story to me.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It pretty much sums up Karasuma's unhappy childhood (which I thought was not as bad as I think it should be, since all there is is a daddy issue; if the backstory was described in another way, maybe I would get it). And OHOHOHO there's his tears. The tears that depicts his unhappiness after being unable to fall in love with someone and must unwillingly have sex with those alphas. And then there's the tiny bit of happy. After taking Karasuma to the car, Takaba confessed his love to Karasuma, which just happened to be one of the rare moments these days when the alpha actually loves the omega (since a lot of omegaverse mangas all have this rape-to-love storyline). Karasuma then burst into tears and happily decided to pick Takaba as his true partner. AHHH Takaba must be one of the best alphas right now!!!!!!!! Hope that they'll have a great ending together!!!

Really now? Karasuma was the nastiest uke I've seen in a while. He had unprotected sex with all these characters and after all these nasty orgies, he was able to make sense and realise he fell in love with the purest alpha out there and pick him as his life partner. How can a person so into the kinks turn a new page in his life and be satisfied with only one partner? How can he make such drastic change overnight, without counseling or some short of expert help? I'm not buying that and that's why I didn't enjoy this manga one bit. Even though his other partners were handsome, it was just as disgusting for me... :<
