Clearly an early work

I only read the main story which is just over 100 pages.

Like KURAHASHI Tomo's later works, the art is nice and the characters are likeable but lean towards bland and forgettable. Unfortunately, the plot is pretty bad.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Memory loss is lazy enough as a plot point; sudden memory loss and then sudden perfect recollection of memory is even worse.

I thought I was missing out because I generally enjoyed sensei's later works, and Kazoku ni Narouyo is one of my favorite one-volume self-contained stories, but I can see why this one hasn't been scanlated or licensed while pretty much all of her other work has.
