Rapist rapes his best-friend-crush while best-friend is sleeping and/or drunk multiple times. When caught in the middle of foreplay tells crush, “I am sorry and I won’t every appear infront of you again”, and crush is guilt tripped, the whole spiel about “it’s my fault”, and crush confesses his love for his rapist and happily ever after. WOW.
Sigh, why do I torture myself like this? In the middle of reading this, I thought that I had read this before. It all seemed so familiar, but the sad thing is that I have read too many rape manga, and they all just really do seem so similar now that I can even differentiate between sex (which is consensual) and rape (which isn’t consensual) so often. AND, I read this manga in Italian because I couldn’t find the Japanese or English scan. I DON’T know Italian but I am 100% sure that the dialogues which I imagined in my head are what was actually written. Sigh, my do I fuck myself up?

i really don't understand why yaoi mangakas love romanticizing rape so much and always make the same excuse of "the seme have always loved the uke and thus it justifies him forcing and having his way with the other". like, are you serious?? this has become something of a trend in yaoi lately and it's getting annoying. this one caught my attention because of the art, but the poor excuse of drawing non-con gay smut is a total turn off.

This story uses rape as some kind of "cute" plot device. Not buying it. It would've been different if

the uke was secretly awake during all of their interactions. It's what I was hoping was going to happen. I mean after all, how do you sleep through someone having sex with you? But this is yet another rape = love story.

I can understand why people wouldn't like this, considering the obvious non-con, but it doesn't bother me. There is something about the characters and circumstances that really makes me like this setting and the actions. Like the perv I am I truly enjoy it. The art is really nice and the smut is really nicely drawn. I actually like both main characters, as well as the few others that make appearances.
