Description

The art in the beginning is quite plain but it got better in recent chapters. The story is great. The ML feels very invincible, like nothing could beat him wether it's strong enemies, overnumbered armies or even pandemic😆 It has it's moments. Not the greatest but definitely worth the read.
nothing groundbreaking or amazingly new here, but simply a well-executed fantasy regressor story.
compelling characters with a coldly rational but still humane MC, good story, engaging plot. world-building is only decent, the medieval fantasy setting can feel a little formulaic at time but eminently serviceable. art is unusual and perhaps an acquired taste, but works well for the story.

Basically, the story takes place in the middle ages. mc accidentally got an artifact that made him regress and grant him a system out of nowhere. The art is mediocre, and the story is somewhat okay, but I just hate the unfair system in general.
One aspect that "regressor" series struggle with is how the MC both uses and hides their knowledge of future events. Here, the protagonist flaunts it while relying on the surrounding cast being too stupid to tell. At one point, he trains his men for weeks to

hold their breath underwater. They then siege a castle with 5 people, dig a ditch, an unprecedented storm floods the area, they hold their breath for that specified amount of time, and then pop out of the hole to claim victory.
That event is so idiotic that it hurts to write about, yet nobody finds it strange. I gave up on the series afterwards as this was the last of many similar situations

83ch in and I'm very positively surprised by this one, really, it ranks among the best manhwas on war and kingdom making.
Story is very good, it start off with the go back in time cliche, but once that's done it's very good, it of course can't compare to kingdom or the golden arc of berserk since the MC rather than using advanced strategy mainly uses his foreknowledge and good tactics, regardless, from the start till now it's filled with action and good the "slow" growth of the MC both in strength and in rank (as in the military or aristocracy). It will be interesting to see how the author continues the story after the MC has changed the story so much that his foreknowledge no longer makes a difference.
Characters are great too, MC is rather "the guy with a solution to every situation" kind of guy given his previous life knowledge, but also uses his experience and good tactics, he ain't amazing but is good enough to carry the story, the we have his growing number of companions, both fighters and non-fighters and they are all interesting, there ain't that much development on them but some receive more attention than other which leads me to think that each will have a small growth arc at some point.
Pace is excellent, dialogues are rather simple but not bad with some good moments here and there.
Art is hard to get used to, but it's great imo (except the MC's hair!), it has a lot of personality, is original and detailed.
Overall, great so far, enjoying this one, if only it released more often...

-doesn’t follow the standard tropes
Cons:
-while the characters do feel unique, the author doesn’t spend much time to let the reader know them more. After 40 chapters, I don’t feel emotionally attached to any of them
-More time should be spent on portraying danger. A lot of the problems the main character faces are solved before the reader gets to realize how screwed he’d be in case he failed. The potential of the series is getting kinda wasted because of it imo
Overall- It was still a pleasant read. It’s not something that will stay with me for long but I don’t regret picking it up

The art is peculiar, or, very distinctive of a specific artist, instead of the standardized-Manhwa
art we see nowadays. The story is also pretty nice with good complexity and, apart from its "fantastic" origin, quite reasonable and easy to follow. Characters are also well defined in my opinion. So far (ch25) so good. Definitely worth a read.
