The thing I picked up by chance... It was connected to my classmate's xxx?!
The school he entered is school full of yankees. Then his life saver appeared before him when he's cowering in fear.
1 Volume (Complete)

The story has a really off the wall premise, which is both funny and completely makes you go "Really?", however, the artwork was cute. Saeki-kun is very adorable and innocent and I did like the fact that the cute little one was the seme while the delinquent was the uke. It's so refreshing when it's not the typical effeminate bottom and masculine top (but too bad it's a silly story no one will take seriously instead of in a more higher quality work so people can realize being the bottom shouldn't automatically mean you gotta be girly..sigh). I think Mishima's other works are a little better, but it was good enough for a mindless read.
This mangaka is known for their over-the-top plots and romance developments going in weird and sometimes bizarre directions, and while Saeki-kun ni Tsunagachau does starts out with some questionable and bizarre premise with the uhh sex toy thing (lmao), I got impressed that, for once, there was not one single non-con scene between the leads and the romance actually felt genuine from beginning to end. The overall plot and drama with the delinquents is still portrayed a bit over-the-top, but the highlight of the manga which was the leads' relationship was actually really wholesome and I could see why they would like each other.
All in all, I didn't know this author had it in them to actually write something wholesome and cute for once without it's questionable scenes XD So I quite enjoyed this one!
Mishima Kazuhiko has never disappointed me, and that continues to be the case. Like always, the art is superb, characters are cute, plot is simple and sexy, and the little one is the seme. chef kiss
Only downside is that it's complete, I would have loved a second volume of these two.
