Kayo and her older childhood friend, Keiichi, live in the countryside.
Keiichi is tall, handsome, and his mysterious aura makes girls flock to him.

But one day, on her way home, Kayo slips and almost falls off the mountain path. Although she is saved by Keiichi, she accidentally snaps the beads off of his amulet.
