Devilman vs Getter Robo is a crossover manga between Devilman and Getter Robo. Its Devilman characters combine elements from their TV-series and manga counterparts.
1 Volume (Complete)

I'm not particularly experienced in Mecha Sentai series, so for me, this is like Devilman showing up in Voltron/Hyaku Jyuu Ou Golion where Allura/Farla runs around naked & the bad guys are actually competent at killing & destroying.
This is definitely an alternate universe story that can't fit into the Devilman Timeline. There are inconsistencies with the original series that can only be overlooked because it's alt universe, but also overall adds to the confusion of the franchise as a whole. 1)The mystery of Akira's parents: In Devilman vs Mazinger, Akira implies that Miki's aunt & uncle are his parents. In this manga Miki says his parents are dead. In Amon, Ice-Age Akira is a missing part of Satan. In Devilman Lady, Akira has 4 parents; himself, Satan, Jun, & Ren. (He also sleeps with his mom, so trying to sleep with his first cousin seems pretty tame) 2)Akira acts like he & Miki are dating, whereas in the original series, he seemed like her oblivious childhood friend until the time of her death. 3)Akira was usually heroic & desperate for allies. Here his personality is 100% Amon; rude, abrasive, & ready to pick a fight. 4)Too many demons killed in volume 1 are in this, like Gelgar. 5)Akira said Siren & Amon were lovers. In the original series, she was merely confirmed to be interested in him. In the Amon manga, it's implied that Amon might have gotten Siren's mother pregnant or that their all-female species reproduces asexually.
The art still looks very 70s but more polished & less censored. Nagai will remind you every so many pages that Siren has boobs, just in case you forgot. You can easily make a drinking game out of this. She's every bit as melodramatic & over-the-top as you remember her, with her grand declarations & name & rank droping. Nagai even tosses in an ecchi cliche of girls groping eachother in the onsen, letting you know that he isn't taking this oneshot as seriously as the Mazinger crossover. (Women make guys do the exact same thing at onsens in doujinshis).
There's robots, demons, & dinosaurs all fighting eachother. Sounds like a little boy's dream battle. I was especially ammused when Devilman merged with Getter AND the pilots. What a mess. & for once, Siren manages to not get killed.
Despite Devilman vs Hades not having a proper ending, I guess it was the more enjoyable crossover. The Hades one also made me want to read Great Mazinger, but this didn't really get me interested in Getter Robo.
